What makes you think you can't apply to other jobs? I know classmates that went to other hospitals before the 1 year mark? And I am to a icu from CVSD and only at the 1 year mark? You never know where you can go unless you apply....

At the end of my clinical years we were about to do skills by ourselves after being checked off, so there my be different hospital and school standard protocol.

You don't have to disclose anything you want to on your forms, they are not your PCP! And because of HIPAA there is no way they will find out unless you tell them. This is your private life.

Why is everyone trying to have their babies at 37 weeks? When did society jump to this convenience of having the baby so early at 37 weeks? Why is it "torture" to let the baby mature for the right given time? Just my personal thought....

I work at Baptist, can't complain but definitely heard that Methodist has lower patio ratios than us, baptist doesn't do tuition reimbursement but I do like the benefits, sorry so late.

Apply to them all, what exactly are you looking for in a hospital? Money? Patient ration? Tuition reimbursement?

There's nothing like being in a career that you will hate all your life! Waking up everyday DREADING going to working... It will affect you mentally and emotionally which will turn into physical symptoms. THEN think about the patients that need the touch of a caring nursing that feels it's his or her passion to take care of them. I hear too many stories about the treatment of the patients bc the nurse is unhappy... IF THIS IS NOT YOUR DREAM GET OUT NOT AND FOLLOW YOUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND. Your too young to be dreading a career for the rest of your life.

Why do you say the this is the last time to take it?

I took my exam Monday 02-03-15... About 3hrs later I did the trick got the good pop up and then did it again the next day around 5:30pm still got the good pop up. Searched my name on nursys.com and found my license number at 6pm when they update their website that day! The trick worked for everybody in my classmate.

I truly believe that some people have the knowledge and are very competent to be a nurse but don't test well. Just because your not passing the test doesn't mean nursing isn't for you. The fact that you made it through nursing school stands alone that you can do it. Don't list the the negativity. Re-evaluate what your studying and how your studying, the content your studying and the formate of the questions. Also test anxiety might be a factor your issues.
