Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

does anyone know if the pearson trick to check your results is true?

i took the nclex pn exam this morning, i got 97 questions and the computer shut down. my friends took it last week and supposedly if you try to log into the system to register again for the exam and it does not let you then it means that you passed, but if you log in to register again and the system lets you pay then it means that you didnot pass... i tried the trick as soon as i got home and it tells me that i need to contact someone from the company and it did not let me register again.. i am exhausted, physcially, emotionally, and mentally.. can anyone please give me any insight.. it feels like wednesday is so far away

You need to read the sticky titled pearson vue trick part two... Especially the last several posts, they explain it in detail and one person gave a screen shot of exactly what it says and looks like. Just FYI, it just worked for me....

Hi everybody! I took my NCLEX-RN this morning at 8am, my status on Pearson Vue has said "ready for delivery" ever since so I am not able to do the PVT. It seems like most people were able to do it almost instantly. Did this happen to anyone else??? Waiting for results is WAY worse than waiting to take the test!!!!

I took the NCLEX-RN this morning and got 75 questions.... I feel like I knew nothing. I felt well prepared going into it, I have done kaplan, and read several other prep books. I did the pv trick and got the good pop up.....i'm hoping it stands true!!

Took it today, shut off at 75. I checked and I got the good pop up! I am thankful for this shred of hope, especially since California is notorious for taking so long to post results!
