  1. I feel your pain and anxiety.. I am also preparing for the NCLEX RN and have a job offering depending on it. I recently started using the Kaplan On Demand and I must say I find it a little confusing and sometimes impossible to use the decision tree on all the questions. I am so torn as to whether I should review all the content videos first and then start doing the QT or if I should do a mix of both each day. It is very overwhelming. I wish you and all others on this journey much success and best advice, is don't loose faith or hope! Good Luck!
  2. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has taken or is familiar with the HESI entrance exam for the nursing program required at Broward college, I recently took it and got a score of 80% but I have a feeling that I will need to retake it in order to improve my score. The college does not specify a passing score but I was wondering if anyone who has already gotten accepted what their score was. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I actually I have a question and you may be able to give me some tips or insight, but I am currently applying for the generic program in the Fall, I was interested in the May program but I think I have just passed the deadline. My question to you though, is in reference to the HESI exam, I took it about a week ago and got an 80%, they don't specifiy a passing score but I am almost positive that I will have to retake it again to improve my score and up my chances at entering in the fall. I was wondering if you had an advice or ideas as far as what scores they prefer when accepting students into the program. ANy info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. I didn't get a call either, I've been calling them every week and finally last week they told me that their next information session will be on April 1.
  5. I got a 141, there is another information session this friday April 1, have you signed up for it? you should try and find out when you can retake the test, the deadline to submit the application is May 27.
  6. yes I have completed all the pre reqs except for psychology, which I am going to clep through Miami Dade. How is the studying going? I've been using my review books from LPN school, I hope I'm doing the right thing, I would love to get accepted into this program :)
  7. My test date is also on March 9 at Mercy.. I know they offer a review for the exam But I believe its somewhere around $200 if I'm not mistaken. I would suggest studying from the NCLEX PN review books you used to study for boards. I am also currently studying for the HESI in order to apply to BCC, needless to say I am going crazy with all these "entrance exams" Goodluck to you! I hear Mercy Hospital has a great program, hopefully we can start in August! :)
  8. That is awesome! Congrats on starting the program :) Hopefully I will be starting soon as well & thanks for the advice.. I just took my nclex board exam 2 weeks ago and passed, so I have faith that I have the knowledge necessary to pass this NLN test :)
  9. Hello! I was wondering if anyone can give me any information/tips as far as the NLN Comprehensive PN exam? I am currently registered to take the exam next month in order to apply for the LPN to RN transition program at Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. I was told that the exam is much like the NCLEX PN exam but I would really appreciate any other info as far as if there is a specific book to study for this particular exam. I know the min score is 128 but the higher the score the better the chance of getting into the program. Also is this exam similar to the ATI comprehensive exam? I know for my LPN program we had to take an exit final exam but it was with ATI, just wondering if they are similar. Thanks!
  10. i passed the nclex pn- the pearson vue trick does work!! so excited & happy!!! goodluck to all! :ancong!::hpygrp::dancgrp::clpty:
  11. IT WORKED!! I PASSED THE NCLEX!!!:clpty::dancgrp:
  12. Congrats!! What an amazing feeling, i should know by tommorow for sure my results!
  13. does anyone know if the pearson trick to check your results is true? i took the nclex pn exam this morning, i got 97 questions and the computer shut down. my friends took it last week and supposedly if you try to log into the system to register again for the exam and it does not let you then it means that you passed, but if you log in to register again and the system lets you pay then it means that you didnot pass... i tried the trick as soon as i got home and it tells me that i need to contact someone from the company and it did not let me register again.. i am exhausted, physcially, emotionally, and mentally.. can anyone please give me any insight.. it feels like wednesday is so far away
