Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

i took my test on 1/5/11 and did the pvt a few hours later. in order for it to work your pearson vue status must be delivery successful. you can find this after you sign in to pearson vue & hit current activity (or something similar to that on the left hand side). i got the good pop up & was able to do my quick results today~i passed : ) i would say that the pvt is highly accurate. if you think about it, it makes perfect sense...why would they let you sign up to take a test you've already taken & passed. good luck to all of you waiting!!

I took mine 1/6 and while I am getting the good pop-up, I still want my results! :( So far it still says "Your exam results are not available at this time." on Pearson Vue. Nothing on the BON either. :Sniffle: I am SOOOOOOOOO anxious! I just want to know if I really passed. I took it in the afternoon, so my 48 hours are up this afternoon, but on my paper it says 48 BUSINESS hours, so does that mean I have to wait until Monday?

I can't make a poll... I'm not sure why, probably something to do with my not posting much around here until recently. Someone that CAN make a poll... could you start one about the RESULTS of the PVT rather than just which pop-up was received?

Example:

In your experience, was the PearsonVue Trick accurate in predicting your NCLEX results?

- Yes, I got the good pop up and passed

- Yes, I got the bad pop up and failed

- No, I got the good pop up and failed

- No, I got the bad pop up and passed

PLEASE! I think most of us here that are very worried, as well as those that will come after us would VERY much appreciate the responses to that sort of poll.

I would like to see the same thing myself! I was just thinking that the other day, after I took my test. I am not sure how to make a poll, or if I even can though

Ah, I can't make a poll, you have to be a paying member for that.

Phew! My "Unnoficial" Quick Result is that I PASSED! I sure hope that that is not wrong, even though I know it is "unofficial"! There is nothing on the BON website yet ,but it says they are doing system maintenance and some scores might not be avaialable. I hope that's the only reason they aren't showing up yet!

took nclex-pn yesterday at 1 stopped at 85 and half were sata and 20 med i didnt know got the good pop up, so did 3 other classmates will let everyone know the results :sofahider

The "trick" worked for me. I just got my official results from Pearsonvue and I passed !!!

I got the good pop up and passed, I believe in the PVT

I took my test 1/8/11. I came home and did the trick right away and it did not work because the "delivery successful" was not there yet. I tried a few hours later with an EXTREME amount of anxiety and I got the good pop up!! I'm scared though because I cannot help to think they fixed the glitch in the website January 1, 2011. Has it been working for people the same? Both ways, credit card page or good pop up and it has worked in 2011?

Worked for me in 2011 Jayden. Took my NCLEX-RN on the 7th, tried it a few hours after, got the good pop up, and found out today through quick results that I passed.

Worked for me too - I tested 1/6. Has also worked for a few people from my graduating class that have tested after the new year
