Wow..
I am very excited.
The computer shut off at 85 questions, I was very concerned that I had not prepared
adequately..but I was wrong.
So I guess the boards God smiled on me..:)
(it's been a while since I practiced..now for the real world again..)
Congrats!!!!!! very happy for you....Sad to say I didn't pass my boards for the 3rd time... Got my results 1-Above passing/1-Below passing & the rest- Near passing....I am very disappointed myself and very frustrated...Any suggestions???...Have done Saunders & Kaplan strategies/questions/qbanks...Did you yourself tried Suzanne4's plan???...pls help....Not losing hope yet, so I'll try again in March...maybe it's not my time yet:confused:

Are you trying to pass the RN boards. and for what state ??
The NCLEX exam is based on Nat'l Council of State Boards of Nursing..as I guess you know...I was under the impression they forced you to take a certified refresher course, in your situation..
I passed my PN boards..which I am sure are way easier than RN boards.
I had not practiced in several years, so I used Lippincott's study guide, and the Chicago Pharmacology Review.
The CD rom included with both allowed me to be more portable, and also mimics the rate adaptive testing.
I just did my best to memorize everything I could..and also got a nursing PDR to review.
Also..your state board should provide you with a written results, so you can review your strong and weak
areas ??
Regards..
I have a question for anyone who might know... I took boards on the 31st of December in Cali, is there a delay in receiving the results on DCA website because of the holiday, or if you passed should the results be up already? I'm in panic mode here!!! I thought that if in fact I did pass, I would see it posted by today. Second, I was told by several people that if the computer turns off after you answered a question "correctly", thenyou most likely passed? Has anyone else been told or experienced that myth? The computer turned off after I answered #85 and I know for a fact I answered it right! I guess I'm just looking for some encouragement. I know if I don't see my name posted by Monday...well, you know.
