Looks like since last year. So, for those who didn't comment on the last thread like this (or who want to comment again) what made you pick your user name? Does it have some meaning, or is it just random? I am always curious about what they actually mean.

Mine is actually from my favorite movie "Army of Darkness".

Specializes in LTC, Hospice, Case Management.

Some of you, including myself, would like a new name but as someone who has been around here awhile, I would hate it if everyone started changing their name. How in the world could any of us begin to know who we are talking to. My vote..we should stay with what we got. After all, how many of us like our real names either.

TOKMOM= Tons OF Kids MOM...I used it on a large family message board. I have 7 kids.( All mine. Not Mormon, Catholic. Same husband. We are just crazy and blessed.:D)

My favorite name I've seen on here was Mike A. Fungin. How many of you thought the guy used his real name? How many of you recognized the med (micafungin)? And just as an FYI from a nurse that has to review month pharmacy bills...that is one EXPENSIVE med. Cost $15,000 - $20,000 if used all month!

Everyone has heard about the caterpillar turning into a butterfly-yada yada yada. 0328 is my birth month and day. Sorta been thinking about changing mine also since butterfly seems to be popular. We'll see

I was a troubled child and in high school I ended up being classified and sent to an alternative special education high school to learn with the other troubled children. We affectionately refered to ourselves as SpEds (Special Education). :D

I feel pretty good about myself (after all I learned all about self esteem in SpEd school) so I humbly chose the adjective spectacular and combined it with SpEd to make my screen name.

SpEd + Spectacular = SpEdtacular :yeah:

My name is an alias that Phoebe used on Friends-which is my all time favorite TV show. Other choices were Smelly Cat (didn't choose that for obvious reasons) and Anastasia Beaverhausen (From Will and Grace but contained 1 too many letters)!!

Dammit I should have thought of that name. I always cracked up laughing in A&P whenever the word "phalanges" was said. lol Nobody knew what I was laughing at either

Mine is rather boring - Sissiesmama. I am the mama to 4 doggies, and Sissie is my baby weinie dog. She turns 5 yrs old in July. My previous name was RNandmom, and changed it when I adopted her.
