Ok Class of 2017, Where are you??

Hello my fellow nursing students. I will be starting my nursing classes on July 6. That's only 12 days from now! I'm both excited and nervous. We had our first orientation yesterday, well it was more like a meet and greet. I have been on YouTube all day looking at videos on nursing school supplies. So I will be starting my school shopping this week. When did you get your school supply list? I was hoping to get mine at orientation, but nope no list! I hope that we can keep each other encouraged through the process. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted into the program.

I will be starting a 2 year program in September. I know most people take their pre reqs before but my program is set up where you take them with your clinical. Has anyone ever taken a clinical with a bio? I'm registered for my first clinical and a&p II this up coming semester.

Congratulations to all of you who made it in! Definitely enjoy your summer. I'm a second-year student. When they say nursing school is your life, it's true! Your classmates become your second family. The NANDA book is a good start. Get a good penlight and water resistant watch. Invest in the shoes...your feet will thank you. Epocrates is a good free app for drugs. I have 3 semesters left. My OB/PEDS rotations are in the fall and I can't wait to get back into clinicals!!

Everything was fine once my nerves settled down! Lol Today was pretty much getting books and going over the syllabus. I love the fact that we have a very small class so far only five of us so far! I'll post an update at the end of the week.

Hey everyone! I will be starting my first semester in August and I am so excited! Orientation is the at end of July and I am anxious to find out about the program and, hopefully, get a list of supplies. Good luck to everyone and congratulations!
