OHSU ABSN 2022

Hi, I wanted to open this topic for anyone that applied to OHSU's ABSN or ABSN-DNP 2022 programs!

Yes! I just got that too.  I can't help but wonder if it wasn't a mistake since it went out before the invitations and showed mine and 84 other emails.  Still... very promising nonetheless!!

I just came here to comment on this! I sent an email back and they said that if we are invited to the actual interview  we will receive a separate email. I got excited too!

I sent the same and they said the same ? why would they say congrats on your upcoming interview tho ughhh LOL

I know! I was very confused by that wording. That was definitely a mistake on their part.

Did anyone get a mock interview for feb 28 for the ABSN nursing program in Ashland?

How many people do you think they interview for the program? Last year they had 23 actual program spots I believe for reference

Yes I got the same email. With 84 other emails attached. Does anyone know how many students the  accept into the program? ABSN ASHLAND CAMPUS.

Last year they had 107 applicants and 23 spots for that program

I would like to know as well 23 that’s so low. I hope it’s more than that. Looks

Well in the mock interview was only cc with 84 other people so maybe only 84 applied this year?

According to someone from the OHSU ABSN 2021 thread (page 20), "Ashland ABSN interviews wrapped up yesterday. For those curious about the interview/acceptance breakdown this round, they interviewed 46 applicants for 24 spots.".

I think it may be specialty specific for the ABSN-DNP, I interveiwed for PMHNP and they told me that I would get a decision around 02/21 

For people applying to the ABSN-DNP how did you deal with thank you emails since it was panel interview? I did not receive my interviewers contact information as I did for other schools I interviewed with.

For those of you who have already interviewed, would you mind sharing about how many questions were asked? Since it's only 30 minutes I'm assuming it's 2 - 3 questions? or would you say it depends on how long your responses are? also is there an opportunity for us to ask them questions at the end? appreciate any input!
