  1. Is this the linfield portal? mine doesn't say submitted but does show the ID number (which also gave me some excitement LOL) but maybe it's a generic thing and everyone has that
  2. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume that both you and @Jflower4 were accepted into the program LOL I received an email yesterday evening where I was told that I was not selected ? still hoping to have the opportunity through linfield and maybe apply to the PMHNP program at OHSU next year. Best of luck to who ever is still waiting!!
  3. Hi! I don't have direct nursing experience but have worked at a local clinic for 7.5 years. During this time I have had experience working with low income families and individuals. I have worked as a community health worker which gave me experience in case management and connecting people to local resources as well as working with different organizations like IYS, PEDAL (they do evaluations on kids to test for disabilities), local school IEP services, and other organizations. I've been an operations supervisor for pediatric department and dental which gave me some experience in leadership. Currently I'm a clinic manager for this same fqhc. ? I didn't have the best GPA (3.15 I think) so I can definitely say they do consider applicants in a holistic approach and see the whole picture rather than just GPA. As I mentioned before I don't think I did great on my interview but just getting the opportunity to interview has built up my self esteem in this area LOL I hope that even if I don't get in to this program, maybe I still get an opportunity to Linfield - I applied for the Summer start.
  4. I interviewed for PMHNP and they told me decisions would be sent out today. ?
  5. I can tell you that the panel was super nice. A couple of the panel members were super quiet compared to the other 3. One of them even said she had no questions which to be honest only made me more nervous. I can honestly say I didn't do well in the interview, I let my nervousness get the best of me. Although I feel I had more than enough time to prepare I am never ready to answer questions about leisure time LOL I'm pretty boring at my age. I think maybe they ask to make sure you have a go to activity that helps you de-stress? The questions seemed that they were more aimed to get to know you outside of school and work but for me personally, school, work and my daughter are my every day life. ? (told you I was boring) LOL
  6. I don't know the facts but from what I have seen through their site, the ABSN tuition is separate from the DNP tuition. I would also assume that accepted DNP students take the first portion with the traditional ABSN students. I only assume this since someone posted earlier that they only have 7 spots total for the direct entry program. I would love to hear what they tell you though, I hope you can share with the rest of us ?
  7. For those of you who have already interviewed, would you mind sharing about how many questions were asked? Since it's only 30 minutes I'm assuming it's 2 - 3 questions? or would you say it depends on how long your responses are? also is there an opportunity for us to ask them questions at the end? appreciate any input!
  8. @Jflower4 in past threads they talk about the interview questions being pretty much the same as those asked in the application. Would you say the same?
  9. Don't get discouraged, I'm sure the interview invites are slow to come in because of the number of applicants they get!
  10. I also received an interview invite earlier this evening! ?
  11. OMG!! How exciting! Sending you lots of positive vibes ? I’ll keep my hopes up for the next two days hopefully I also get the opportunity to interview
  12. Yes, of course! hopefully we hear something soon ?
  13. No, nothing yet ☹️their website says the interviews for that track are Feb 8,9, and 15th (something like that) I’m staying hopeful for an interview until the 5th LOL
  14. Not going to lie, that makes me feel a little less anxious LOL at least I know there is someone else waiting to hear back on this specific track. :)
  15. @SofiaFutureNP this is the timeline included in the email: January: Verified applications are being processed at this time. All applications submitted by the deadline are being reviewed. If you do not hear from us, it likely means your application is complete. Once applications are processed the admission committee will review all verified applications. February: Once applications are processed by the admissions team, the admissions committee will begin to make interview selections. Interview dates and format are listed on our interview dates webpage. If you do not receive a call or email after your program’s interview dates have passed, this will likely mean that we will not be moving forward with your application.  March-April: Approximately two to three weeks post the interview date, final decisions will be made and released to all applicants via email. Admissions packets will then be emailed to admitted students.  so then if we are selected for an interview maybe we won’t hear for another week?
