OHSU ABSN 2022

Hi, I wanted to open this topic for anyone that applied to OHSU's ABSN or ABSN-DNP 2022 programs!

Hi everyone!

I got an email on the 14th notifying me that I am on the “alternate list” for the ABSN-DNP program in nurse-midwifery. I had my interview at the end of January. I never received an invite for just the ABSN (Portland) and I am absolutely devastated. Has anyone else experienced this-an invite for the graduate program but nothing for the undergraduate?

I just got an interview invitation for OHSU Ashland... Hopefully I can come across as confident and friendly and not terrified and socially awkward! ?

Me too! I got my OHSU ABSN interview invite by email today. So excited! I wasn’t expecting that until next week.

Congratulations I hope I hear something soon. For the ASBN ashland campus. I haven’t got an email yet.

Looking at last year's thread, it seems like they sent out invitations in waves, so don't give up hope!

Thank you for the encouragement I hope so I’ve never wanted something so bad in my life. I’m staying positive.

I know exactly how you feel. They definitely send their interview invites in waves over a few weeks ? im sure yours will be coming soon!

I would also assume that accepted DNP students take the first portion with the traditional ABSN students. I only assume this since someone posted earlier that they only have 7 spots total for the direct entry program. I would love to hear what they tell you though, I hope you can share with the rest of us ?

Update: Heard back today about those questions. "Tuition for ABS and DNP are separate, so you would combine them if you are in an ABS-DNP program. ABS-DNP students will usually take classes with ABS students during the ABS portion of their program. Pretty much what we expected.

Congrats ? Not yet but I hope I am soon. I know a few other people got one on Thursday.
