Hey all!
Now that the application deadline has passed, I feel comfortable finally starting a post. Just curious to hear who else applied to this program. It's fascinating to me to hear about people's different experiences, stats, expectations, etc. I'm also wondering what other programs people might've applied to? I got my submission in for the Portland ABSN to FNP/DNP program as well.
Best of luck to everyone! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and perspectives.
Hi dawnneFL1, I know how you feel. I didn't even get an interview two years in a row and I have similar experience and letters (and psych degree). While I'm still waiting to hear from Linfield, we decided to apply to other accelerated programs. Despite not even getting an interview at OHSU for the acbac or acbac to nurse midwifery, I did get into Duquesne University's 12 month second degree BSN program starting this fall. We will be spending a year in Pittsburgh, uprooting my kids and fiance, to get complete this goal, and we'll return at the end of summer next year. It's maddening thinking that all my hard work and experience is not appreciated by the programs here. I know it's competitive but disheartening.
Hi everyone - long time lurker, first time commenter.
I applied to the ABSN at the Ashland campus and received the admission decision email today at 11:30 am. I am an alternate in the highly likely position. Really hoping that a spot opens up for me!
Does anyone have information on when they will make moves on the waitlist?

Congratulations!! I'm hoping so also!

I also applied to an east coast school and got into Simmons College's accelerated program. It's a great school with a great reputation. However, it is expensive! I am really hoping I get into OHSU so I don't have to start thinking of how I am going to afford living in Boston and leave my husband for 16 months.

I'd try and find out when the students offered admission have to accept by. I imagine they'd start moving fairly quickly after that!
Has anyone who has applied to Linfield heard anything? It seems like in previous years, admission letter went out around March 15th.
Haven't heard anything yet, and I am still not expecting anything for a while. Despite years past, It says right on Linfield's website that the purposed mailing date is April 1st for admissions notifications.
Did anyone else just receive an email about FAFSA? I had received it and had also received it when I first applied but I couldn't do anything further since I wasn't an admitted student. Now I see that I'm eligible on their financial aid website...trying not to read into it. :/
I haven't re-received one, no. I got the original PIN email and the "you need to complete" stuff FAFSA email, but that was awhile ago and my PIN/email combo never seemed to work.

I wasn't able to apply to Linfield so I can't personally promise that but I've heard it from multiple people so I'm assuming it's true.
