Hey all!
Now that the application deadline has passed, I feel comfortable finally starting a post. Just curious to hear who else applied to this program. It's fascinating to me to hear about people's different experiences, stats, expectations, etc. I'm also wondering what other programs people might've applied to? I got my submission in for the Portland ABSN to FNP/DNP program as well.
Best of luck to everyone! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and perspectives.
but can't be a nurse unless I get into a program and there's already a dearth of them in Oregon, I just think it's ridiculous- this was the 3rd time and I think if one is back for the 3rd time, it should be considered. I'm just very very down right now. I'll bounce back.
It is completely ridiculous and I'd definitely be down too, but don't give up, seriously. Did you apply to any other programs? And if you don't mind me asking, when exactly did they send the email?
Hey everyone, I just got an acceptance email from the ABSN OHSU Ashland campus! Keep checking your emails! Good luck to everyone :)
Congrats! Random question but would you mind copying/pasting what the email said? Just trying to mentally prepare myself for what the message preview might look like coming in haha
It was actually really stressful because it doesn't say until like the third line that you got in! Its a really short email, they'll be sending out letters with more information. It basically said thank you for submitting your application, the admissions committee is pleased to admit you, we'll be sending out letters this week. The subject line was just something like "Nursing application decision" so it gives no indication until you read the entire email! Like I said, good luck :)
