OHSU ABSN 2018-2019

Published

Hey all!

Now that the application deadline has passed, I feel comfortable finally starting a post. Just curious to hear who else applied to this program. It's fascinating to me to hear about people's different experiences, stats, expectations, etc. I'm also wondering what other programs people might've applied to? I got my submission in for the Portland ABSN to FNP/DNP program as well.

Best of luck to everyone! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and perspectives.

And...anyone from out of state go??? I’m curious how easy it is to transfer your nursing license to practice in other states

We have people in our program who are looking to start this first job out of state. These people are looking into getting their nursing license in the state they plan to practice in, rather than getting it in Oregon and attempting to transfer.

Hi ABSN 2018-2019,

I hope this message finds everyone doing well. I am a new student at Linfield starting the ABSN program in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone is willing to sell or rent their first and second semester textbooks? That would be so helpful!

I’m a current ABSN Student at Linfield and will be finishing up this summer. I’d be happy to rent my books to you! I’ll need to use them later for studying/photo-ops, but they’re all yours for the summer! ☺️

Breese28,

Of course! That would be great! How much are you willing to rent them out for?
