Official nursing student fall 2011 stand up!!!

hi there!

i am just as excited and am starting classes july 5th!!! just four more days to go!!! i wish i was this excited in high school about classes! lol

i will have to say you are pretty bold on the whole posting your gpa and teas score thing. great job! :up: i will be attending the faaaabulous rasmussen school of professional nursing in green bay, my gpa was 3.5 and teas v score was...well lets just say for a married mother of four; who has been out of school for over 10 years (accept for taking a cna course in 2005), i scored high enough to be accepted into nursing school! :heartbeat

lol!!! as long as you made it into the program the teas score does not matter. i just posted it because i am sure someone will be asking for it,lol!! in 4 days wow, i know you are excited i am excited for you! well good luck and make sure you try to keep us posted on your first semester or at least first month since i won't start til august 22.

I start on Sep. 8th!!!!! GPA 3.96.....Soooo excited and nervous!!

I start August 22 at Penn State - GPA 2.95 - got the steth, scissors, penlights and uniforms ordered...just need to order shoes and I'm set!

@ adorable42181 - Yes, I will definitely try to keep everyone posted! I have really been enjoying reading posts and writing replies on allnurses! As soon as I log off here I'm hittin the textbooks again for some more study; biology and medical terminology. My two oldest girls have been helping hold up flash cards for my studies; they seem to really be enjoying it! :) I'm also almost half way through the "Critical Thinking in Nursing" book for my Critical Thinking class. Besides being a good mom, I have never wanted to succeed this much at anything before! :yelclap:

Wow that is wonderful that your kids are helping. I have five and I use to let them help me with my statistics, especially when I had to memorize all of the numbers!

You will succeed because you are so motivated. I will be waiting on your post future nurse,lol. :nurse:

Official Nursing Student for the Fall 2011 semester. Attending RCC in North Carolina, I have a 3.8 GPA and I scored an 80% on the TEAS. So ready for August 19th :-)
