Seriously.....!!!
I love how the "hospital won't comment on whether or not the Mom had fertility treatments". Come on!!!!

Any comment I might make would probably NOT be appreciated...........
Those poor kids. What a circus that selfish woman has created!!
I still can't get over the whole asking for donations part. I mean it's one thing if people offer you gifts / money on their own. It's a whole different story ASKING for them. It's like she expects all of the free stuff handed to her now. Ugh.
She obviously has no shame.
I personally will be boycotting any company that gives her handouts.
Are you certain about that? I'm not... and know next to nothing about insurance... but this is quoted directly from the Medi-Cal site: http://files.medi-cal.ca.gov/pubsdoco/publications/masters-mtp/fpact/progstand_f00.doc I was a bit surprised to find such a statement.
And again... IMHO this is all internet gossip until I am personally involved with such a case (but interesting conversation, nonetheless)... here is more questionable evidence about Medicaid involvement in reproductive assistance: http://www.newsweek.com/id/111969 Granted, this article is from 1994, but it certainly raises a shadow of doubt...
Are you sure that all loop-holes have been closed...???

Ok just for a loop back to reality, this fertility specialist is a real exclusive provider in Bev Hills.. He does not take Medi-Cal. She had the babies at Kaiser Permenente, not a Medicaid hospital.. This is very famous/infamous HMO. Had this occurred at County... maybe but no MediCaid/Medical did not finance this. No way, no day!
Anyone see where the SAME doctor has another patient that is pregnant with another set of Octs?I read the article last night, and I can't find the article again, but it was headlined on Yahoo...did anyone else see it?
I just saw the one that mentions another of his patients is pregnant with quads, not octuplets. Still, way too many embryos were implanted in thise case also.

I've gone thru the entire thread, and the one I keep thinking of when I hear her talk [to Ann Curry, et al] is:
NARCISSIM!!!
She said, "Yes, I had them all put in, they're mine." Looney tunes!!!
