Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

OMG same here! It seems that everyone thinks today is the day we will hear something but it’s almost 5pm EST, and nothing yet, so maybe not? Do they usually go out late On Friday’s? ?

Somebody in the other NYU ABSN thread got an acceptance this afternoon so at least a few went out!
it's probably not gonna happen today. Also I read the thread from 2019 and the decision were released in the beginning of the week as well...so not sure why we are assuming it has to be Friday

I got my acceptance on Friday the 20th and I think a lot of past threads have received acceptances on Friday’s as well
Hey guys! I applied on 3/20 and I noticed the checklist was gone yesterday?
Does anyone really know what that means? I'm seeing so many mixed comments about it
It honestly doesn't mean much, it basically means that your application is getting reviewed. My checklist disappeared two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back. So I decided not to think too much into the checklist disappearing and try to let go some of the anxiety.
Based on what I’ve read, it just means the application is under review or has been reviewed and a decision is pending. My checklist disappeared awhile back, and I haven’t heard anything. Not saying it’s good or bad, we just don’t know unfortunately. We’re all on edge from this wait!
