  1. I applied in October and am still patiently waiting ? It’s agonizing for sure! My checklist disappeared around the end of March but I have yet to hear anything.
  2. Has anyone else received an acceptance/denial update today? I’m rooting for us all to get in at this point! It’s really really bad (staffing wise) in a lot of hospitals due to Covid. I work for a major one here in NYC and we’re beyond understaffed! I can only imagine this would increase the number of seats in nursing programs across the board. More importantly I hope everyone is staying safe and well!
  3. The amount of nervous that I am right now....ooof! I’m trying to get homework done and I can’t because I literally keep checking my email ?
  4. I uploaded my revised resume on the NYU applicant portal under the "Upload Materials" section. I submitted my original resume on the Common App.
  5. @Sha_17 I wouldn't worry too much about that! Double check that you assigned NYU as the college/university on your FASFA. If it has been more than two weeks since you have completed your FASFA send an email to NYU's Financial Aid department.
  6. My checklist disappeared last Friday 03/20 and I received an email last night stating that my FASFA and CSS had been processed. I am sooo nervous. I had a change of employment (I work for a hospital now) and updated my resume. I uploaded my revised resume to the the applicant portal a few weeks ago, I wonder if that was an okay thing to do? UGH so many worries. ALSO...Good Luck to everyone! ?
  7. Hey Everyone! My name is Lea! I’m currently a pre-nursing student in NYC and recently completed my app for the NYU Fall 2020 ABSN program! My stats are as follows: Anatomy/Physiology1: B Anatomy/Physiology2: A Chem 1: A- Developmental Psych: A Statistics: A Currently taking Micro this semester and Nutrition next semester! I work as a patient care representative at an urgent care in the NYC area and am gearing up to take on a shadowing opportunity of a doctor who works at a major NYC hospital. A tidbit of interesting info...I studied opera in High School for 4 years and used to help teach yoga in Bryant park (all of which somehow led me to nursing lol) ??‍♀️ Any hoot, I have two rec letters, one from a professor who happens to teach at NYU and one from my manger at the urgent care center I work for. My mom is also an alum of NYU Silver School and she spent a few years working at NYU Langone. Crossing my fingers that I’m in some capacity what NYU is looking for, but I guess we’ll all find out soon! Sending loads of good luck to everyone!!!! ??
