NYP New grad position

Hello.

I recently applied for a new grad position at NYP and I got an email saying my app is currently "being considered" for the new grad opportunity and they will "contact me within the next 2 weeks regarding next step/status etc".

Does that mean I have a chance to land an interview, or is it what everyone gets after they apply?

It was not a computer generated email.....but an email from an actual person......

This med/surg float program will include a 6 week orientation period where new graduates will train across med/surg units at our Cornell location. At the end of the training period, these new graduates will be floated full time across these units. I am interested but I am not a new grad.

i went in for an interview couple days ago. They are definitely hiring new grads.

BTW, they quoted salary and starting for new grads $81000 plus night differentials of $6000, totaling $87000. Pretty good stuff.

Congratulations @immaRNfinally ! Was this interview for the med/surg new grad program at Cornell? Ahh i really want an interview but they havent contacted me since those intial first emails about the program! Also, what were the questions like?

Did HR tell you the different start dates they may have?

Yessss congrats!! Also that's an awesome starting salary. I haven't been contacted since they called about the new grad med surg thing either blahhhh

I called and they emailed me back saying they have no updates for right now

Last Thursday and they emailed back the same day, like an hour later

im assuming this program will probably be starting in november now? what do you guys think
