I recently applied for a new grad position at NYP and I got an email saying my app is currently "being considered" for the new grad opportunity and they will "contact me within the next 2 weeks regarding next step/status etc".
Does that mean I have a chance to land an interview, or is it what everyone gets after they apply?
It was not a computer generated email.....but an email from an actual person......

I got a call today saying I'm still being considered and they asked if I would be interested in a new program that starts in October where they rotate new grads through various med surg positions, which I said yes to, so they told me to hold tight for now. Anybody else get a call?

Yes @teddygraham I just got a call right now too saying thanks for attending the event (in june lol) and I am still being considered for the opportunity and if I will be interested in the new grad program (16 weeks, training in med surg floors) starting in october.........I obviously said yes......interesting...
Hey guys I got the same thing yesterday. I missed the call and listening to the voicemail. I also got an email. I responded that im definitely interested etc and so send an email back if they get it but nothing came back so far. When I try to call the number that called me it says its out of service. When I call the main recruitment number its busy.
I also received a call and email about this program!! I would assume they would be interviewing soon if it is supposed to start in October. Has anyone heard any details?
