  1. To everyone who is still waiting, I emailed one of the contacts and from the response it would seem theyre done filling positions for the program (or rather, filling interview positions.) Her email said that they may have more positions become available during the october/november timeframe. Hope this helps.
  2. @shadowness i REALLY hope it's not. from their emails it sounded like it was going to be a big program...so I imagine they'd like to interview a bigger group. (At least that's what I've been telling myself)
  3. Congrats @teddygraham infinitely jealous!
  4. Thank you for all the tips guys! Cleaning it up now!
  5. Thank you!!
  6. Hi all, Has anyone taken the pre-interview med test? I was told before my interview there would be a med test follower by an hr interview and a nurse manager interview. They didn't give me any details about the test and I have no idea what to expect (calculations? meds? administration?) Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks :)
  7. I wonder if they keep calling to make sure they have enough applications to pick and choose.
  8. @shadowness- theyve had a few new graduate events. I attended one in June (at Columbia) and one in July (at the Lower Manhattan hospital.) After all of that I got the possible med-surg rotation being opened up at Cornell email in August. Still no phone call though >. But hopefully a positive one will come for us within the next few days!!
  9. Congrats on your ER position! Your post has given us all hope I think.
  10. Any advice? Ive been looking for a job since April. All help would be appreciated!! :)
  11. Hi all! I graduated in May and passed the NCLEX in June. Ive been desperatly searching for a job. I know I do not have the most experience but I am diligent and a fast learner. Since there has been a lull in working, I have taken an ACLS course and am looking for volunteer jobs. If you could look over this resume, Id really appreciate it. The more critical the better, I promise I won't argue :) I also noticed the formatting looks kinda weird on here, but I promise it's much more smooth on the actual document! 12. Congrats @immaRNfinally! Same question as everyone above, was it for their float program? Did HR tell you the different start dates they may have?
  13. Hi all, I have an interview coming up for two units at the same hospital. The two units are Hospitalist and Medical. I am having a hard time finding information online that differentiates the two units. Could someone please offer me some insight on this? Thanks!
  14. This is probably such a stretch but I had an unknown number call me this past Monday and I didn't answer. I attended the new grad event and am now freaking out that it was nyp that called me and I missed my chance! Does anyone know if they're going to contact people who ISN'T getting an interview? This whole process is nerve racking.
  15. Hey! Did the manager just email or call you today? Just trying to grasp an idea of how fast they're going through the applications. Congrats and good luck!
