NYP Hiring Process

Hi Everyone this is my first post. I was lucky enough to score an interview with NYP where I met with a hiring manager as well as a director of a unit. I am wondering for those who have applied for RN positions how long did it take to hear back with a job offer? Or possibly a job denial. I would love to hear from those who have ben hired here as I am really anxious. Thank you.

Hey guys

so I interviewed for a position at NYP with the NM and staff on 2/28. That same day, I had the phone conversation with HR and was asked to provide references and I was also given info on pay and benefits. It's going over a week now, and I haven’t heard anything. I’m starting to get extremely nervous especially since I saw they reposted the position . My status remains assessment/reference but its really hard to remain hopeful. I've contacted the recruiter twice with no reply. Does this mean I didn't get the job?

Which NYP? Are all your references done?

Hi guys! I see many of you have gotten offers from NYP so congratulations! I'm currently interviewing for two positions at NYP Columbia and I wanted to see if anyone could share what the starting salary is for a new RN? I've been asked to tell them what salary I'm looking for so I wanted to get an idea. Thanks!

Hi guys! Can anyone tell me how long it took for NYP to look at your online application? Some of mine say no longer in consideration whereas some still say application submitted. Thanks.

The ones I know for sure are Columbia, allen and I think brooklyn and queens locations. For sure lawrence and weil cornell are not unionized

If anybody received this, how long did you have to wait to hear a response after the assessment?

Hey, I know this is like a month late but I got that email on Tuesday morning. I filled out the assessment/questionnaire Tuesday and a recruiter called me the next day on Wednesday afternoon. I have an interview for Monday with the hiring manager in the morning and then the HR recruiter in the afternoon. Could you tell me what kind of questions did they ask? Did you get an offer ? Did you accept? Sorry for all the questions I’m super nervous!

I just received an email asking me to fill out the Getting to Know You questionnaire. Really hoping for a call from HR tomorrow and would also like some advice on the types of questions they asked! Thank you in advance
