I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

sorry, i was off the hook for a while. i am very busy preparing for my family (and mine) scheduled interview next week.
i received from manila embassy packet instruction 4 and yup, God is good, we're heading to manila today for the said anticipated event... yes, in God's own time, He sees and provides just at the time you need to have your prayers answered.
hope more will follow for interview appointments.
will surely update you all once i am done with the final leg of my long wait.

Just rang NVC automated line now says case completed 12th July wait 6-8 weeks for further instruction:monkeydance:. My DS-230 was recieved 2nd July then msg said wait 6-8 weeks for reply. So 10 days for case complete fantastic, now hoping to get msg forwarded to emabassy soon.

Great news, mine still says waiting for documents from lawyer, know they sent it few weeks ago
I still get the same message from NVC..still awaiting documents...my agency told me they sent the documents 2 weeks ago...dunno what's causing the delay?

Hi Ilona13...congratulations, at least someone here was finally able to get an interview schedule. So there is still a chance that the rest of us will get a schedule. I am just wondering what's taking my case so long. My PD Nov 2005 and updated DS230 received at NVC JUly 2 just like yours. Called automated line of NVC yesterday, still no change in the message.

Hi ilona13! Wow your case is really fast! When exactly is your interview date? If your case was forwarded to US embassy manila last July 2...and your going to have your interview next week...It means that it only took 2 wks from the time nvc forwarded your case to manila to your actual interview. For the record, i think your case is the fastest. hope you'll update us soon. thanks and goodluck!

Makes no difference what is in the August Bulletin for you. Looks like a visa number was already reserved for you from the ones that were recapped last month. Do not expect anything to change in the August Bulletin, as new visas will not be released until October. This was already stated by US State Dept. And as we have been posting, they are trying to clear out as many pending files that they have had sitting there. And yours would definitely come under that.

All of the others that have had actual requests from immigration to update their DS-230, means that they have a file that is being processed again. And that you had approval in the past for the DS-230, they just need to update the information.
Big difference comes when it is the attorney alone that is asking for the updated information just to get started on the paperwork. The one that is actually submitted must be requested by USCIS and have a barcode. And if it did, then you should have a number set aside for you.

Quite a few got final approval that were waiting for the green card with the AOS process just this past Friday, the 13th. Guess that it is not their lucky day.
