NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

hi mariel7, what a sigh! thanks for your info...you gave us a grip of hope amidst the roller coaster ride of getting a visa to US.I just continue to hope that things will be better on the coming days.hope we all get to US very very very soon.i'll keep you all updated with my papers too. Good luck to all of us! as St. Therese of the child Jesus would say "everything is a grace." maybe this long wait is a grace after all.;)

To leis23, Gracie, Agh_ph to everybody else,

A lot of nurses under AOS are getting approval with a priority date so much later than ours. How do they process cases? I felt like we are being left out in the dark.... its really sad knowing that we had our case comlpeted last year.:(

Yes, it's really sad to know that they are releasing greencards not in order of priority. I guess that is why all the visas were used up in June because they alloted them to people who were suppose to be behind the line. This is so unfair....

hi guys!

just called the NVC number. the automated voice response system informed me that NVC received my response to the checklist letter last July 11, 2007. I have to wait for 6-8 weeks for review.

finally an update!!

If they do the AOS route then it is different than CP. I believe they get theirs a bit quicker as already in the US. But be aware currently you can not go through the AOS route due to retrogression and is actually against immigration to go to the US on a tourist visa and change status.

hello to all...amidst what's happening to our cases, been so positive what would be the outcome in the end. thank you guys for all the updates.at least,we were able to uplift our spirits through this...

been calling NVC every other day and sad to say, received the same message.."allowed 6 to 8 weeks to review then we will notified you"...

God bless..

I just found this qoutation online ...

Could it be something positive for everyone???

"Immigration Voice core has learned that something is likely to happen in next 24 hours (or Monday) possibly to fix the issues caused by recent visa bulletin.

We have been told not to divulge details of this development.

Latest from Immigrationvoice.org

All we can say as of now is that :

1). The solution will be announced in next 24 hours or on Monday.

2). The solution is not going to be a change in visa bulletin of July. The bulletin will most likely stay as-is. This is not about August bulletin either.

3). This fix will be of a more permenant nature and this idea has been highly popular in this community in the past.

IV has been working very hard on this and this and we will be very happy if this effort

comes through. It will be a major victory for each and every member of this IV community.

Stay tuned for the next 24 hours. waiting fingers crossed"

hi, shane17.

It means they received your updated ds-230 and the other documents you sent them. :-) They will review it for 6-8 weeks...to see if you have missing documents or you filled up the form completely or not.

hope this helps!

Ayone heard from Ilona13? she hasn't posted an update on her case. I wonder what happened to her case from the time she posted that her file has been sent to the Embassy. We haven't heard anything from her what happened. So far she was the only one who said her file has been sent to the embassy already. All of us are still waiting for our cases to be completed at the NVC.

Ilona13...please update us on your case.
