NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

hello everyone! I just want to share what my lawyer told me when I asked him about the Visa bulletin. this was his answer.

Regarding the Visa Bulletin:

What it means is that you should read the original July Visa Bulletin

(issued on June 13, 2007) and also read the updated July Visa Bulletin

(issued on July 2, 2007). They want to confirm that people understand

that on June 13, 2007 they stated visas would be available during the

month of July 2007; then on July 2, 2007, they issued an update stating

that no Employment-Based visas are available during the month of July

2007.

The updated Visa Bulletin issued on July 2, 2007 is the one that is

being used in regards to visa availability during the month of July 2007.

Therefore, there are no employment-based visas available, and your

visa category is again in retrogression.

We will know more about the visa availability for October 2007, once

the October 2007 Visa Bulletin is issued.

Also, you should not expect an Embassy Interview date in October 2007.

The National Visa Center has been re-issuing Packet 3's for

candidates who previously filed their Packet 3 between August 2006 and November

2006. Therefore, we are currently waiting for the National Visa Center

to re-issue your Packet 3. Once we receive the Packet 3 from them,

and have received all needed documentation from you, we will be able to

again file your Packet 3. (Note: this may not happen until retrogression

again lifts.) NORMAL processing times indicate that once the Packet 3

is filed, an Embassy Interview is scheduled 3-4 months later.

This made me sadder than ever! :o

hello,

yes, i did received notification from NVC dated july 02, 2007 informing that my petition was completed and forwarded to the Embassy/Consulate for further processing. it also states that any queries should be directed to the Embassy of origin. well, my pd was november, 2005 and case completed oct. 2006. last year, just as soon as i received notice from NVC that my case was completed, retrogression came in Nov., 2006.:o

now, i doubt if NVC has received my updated ds230 as i sent it last june 27, 2007 thru our employer's lawyer.:nono:

i hope this will give hope to some who had pds' way back 2005... that indeed, waiting and praying can be beneficial. just to let you know that there is a chance of getting a visa once our papers are forwarded, even if july visa bulletin was revised. ;)

Hi Ilona13! We haven't heard any updates from you. Do you already have an interview date? did you already receive your packet 4? Since we have the same pd, I am curious if you already have your packet 4. I emailed NVC but they have not replied yet. It's been 2 weeks since I emailed them. Their automated message on the phone still haven't changed. It's still ....received July 2 and wait for 6 to 8 weeks.... Please update us in your case since you already receive an email stating your case was forwarded to US embassy already.

Hi donty! I can't understand this, you were asked to resubmit your ds230 and other docs, right? If they ask you get those docs again it means that the NVC re-issued packet3 for you. Does this mean that your lawyer didn't forward the updated docs to the NVc or they haven't recieve any request from the NVC. This is confusing:uhoh3:.

agp- ph My msg also says the same documents received 2nd july 2007 please wait 6-8 weeks for response.

My PD date is May 2005.

Still do not have a job offer as my original employers withdrew their offer in Feb 2007 due to the delays. So i suppose this gives time for my agency to find a new sponser.

3-4 months when file is completed by the NVC to receive an interview date from the embassy is the time line we received yrs ago.

My question is 6-8 weeks for file to be completed is end of Aug to the begining of sept, what are the chances of getting an interview during Oct when fingers crossed visas will again be available.

hi fruity, i called nvc a week ago and the automated response said that p3 bill was generated july 4,2007 and they are just waiting for my agent to pay the necessary fee. i asked my lawyer why am I going thru the process again because i already had my p3 generated last year an d this was his answer......

June 4, 2007: The NVC generates new Fee Bills for your family members.

June 19, 2007: We received new Fee Bills for your family members.

June 20, 2007: We submitted a "following-to-join" letter to the NVC, on

behalf of your family members. (Since your fee was already paid, they

did not request a new fee for you.)

June 20, 2007: We sent email to you requesting P3 documents.

June 28, 2007: We received P3 documents from you.

Currently: Waiting for NVC to update your file at their office, to

indicate your family members as "following-to-join"; once they update your

file, they will issue your Packet 3.

then i asked him about the DOS visa bulletin and that was his answer, the one i posted on post 1635.

how about yours fruity, how things are going on with your papers?

PDMAY2006

Hi, after reading all your posts, i knew that there is no visa available yet for EB3. I just wondered why NVC made me pay my VISA FEE BILL. I just paid it last June 22, 2007 and i also sent my updated DS-230 per lawyer's request thru fed-ex last week. I dont want to hope until october'07. Everything is so frustrating.

We have the same sentiments guys...case completed last year but asked to submit an updated ds230.

My lawyer received the request for packet 3 from NVC last june 27. I sent my updated ds230 and nbi clearance to my lawyer, Saturday of last week (June 30). My lawyer confirmed that she received my documents last July 3. Since July 4 was holiday in the US, my documents were sent to NVC last thursday (July 5).

I'm going to call the NVC next week to know the status of my application. I'll just update you here guys.

My PD is April 2006....

My visa bill was paid Nov 2006 and then retrogresion hit then my case got restarted in June as my PD date is may 2005 and still my case is at NVC we all just have to live in hope and be patient
