  1. hello, guys, sorry, i was off the hook for a while. i am very busy preparing for my family (and mine) scheduled interview next week. i received from manila embassy packet instruction 4 and yup, God is good, we're heading to manila today for the said anticipated event... yes, in God's own time, He sees and provides just at the time you need to have your prayers answered. hope more will follow for interview appointments. will surely update you all once i am done with the final leg of my long wait. keep on trusting, God bless us all. like what i believe in, God is good, all the time.
  2. my friend is on eb3 category, packet 3 stage. she is being asked by her lawyer to submit an updated ds230 along with OP169. what's OP169? why is she asked for this form? thanks for anybody who can reply.
  3. hi, all, i agree with what suzanne cpmmented regarding the said aricle. shame on all those concerned for allowing such misinformations to penetrate in a newspaper where thousands are reading. nurses who are not efficient enough to browse in the internet nor research would be blindly informed of such "good news" and heaven knows what reactions many would do because of such garbage piece of article. i hope something should be done like an erratum message from the editor or anything that could dispel that article so the public may know. it is so disheartening considering that many many filipino nurses are eager to wait for a positive outcome of their status. i am giving out to all my friends this forum as i found it to be accurate and truthful. hope all those who have been members can do the same to their fellow nurses so that updated correct info can be shared. anyway, good luck to all of us, especially fellow filipino nurses.:balloons:
  4. hello, yes, i did received notification from NVC dated july 02, 2007 informing that my petition was completed and forwarded to the Embassy/Consulate for further processing. it also states that any queries should be directed to the Embassy of origin. well, my pd was november, 2005 and case completed oct. 2006. last year, just as soon as i received notice from NVC that my case was completed, retrogression came in Nov., 2006. now, i doubt if NVC has received my updated ds230 as i sent it last june 27, 2007 thru our employer's lawyer. i hope this will give hope to some who had pds' way back 2005... that indeed, waiting and praying can be beneficial. just to let you know that there is a chance of getting a visa once our papers are forwarded, even if july visa bulletin was revised.
  5. To Anna and Lawrence, thanks for the replies. hope everything turns out beautifully after a long wait. my pd was way back november of 2005. this forum has been my source of updated and correct information. i never let a day pass without opening this site. for those waiting too, good luck to us!
  6. yup, mariel17, i am from the wonderful land of the philippines. about your query, i got the message from my email since i sent them a query of my status two weeks ago. plus i went into a lot of prayers.... i will update you in case i got an interview date. God is good and will always be. continue to be trusting...
  7. hello, lawrence, i received from nvc today notification that my case was forwarded to the embassy of my country. it was not an automated reply. it states that queries will be directed to the embassy. considering that the mail got in just today, does that mean that i maybe included in the consular interview date ? was i allocated a visa number despite today's post of revised july visa bulletin? thanks in advance.
  8. hi, lawrence, thanks for that piece of advise. i have acyually sent my updated form but i'm not sure whether my lawyer will pass it to nvc immediately or he might wait for all of my batchmate to submit and pass altogether to nvc... my lawyer is based in america and i hope he is aware of the time element involved... anyway, waiting is not so bad, after all. i realized i'm a very patient person when it comes to moments like this one.
  9. hello, suzanne. my PD was november 24,2005, approval, april 16,2006, and got a notification from nvc that case completed last october,2006.then, retrogression came. now that july visa bulletin is current, nvc is asking for a re-submission of ds230. my question is this... why do they need another set od ds230 when it was already approved last year of october? i am afraid it will never end as after submitting a new one, another retrogression might set in again... i am confused of the process. please enlighten me. also, after i have submitted my new ds230, what do you think is my chance for an interview? appreciate very much of your efforts and time in clarifying these matters.
  10. hi, suzanne, i have a friend whose visa screen certificate is about to expire and she is presently in packet 3, waiting hopefully for consular interview. she is asking of what to do in case her visa expires on september and she has no interview date yet. will she process or renew her VSC again? thanks a lot.
  11. Yup, It's the best news i received this morning from a friend. God is good, all the time! Good luck to all of us.:balloons::balloons::balloons:
