I've noticed there are a variety of general nursing magazines/ journals. Which one(s) do you read regularly and what do you like about it?

Couldn't even tell you why, but I like Nursing 2006 over the others. I've had a subscription since I was in school in the 80's.

I had a trial subscription to RN and really liked it. I know when I loosen my purse again I'll subscribe for real! :)

I just ordered a subscription to this last week. Does anyone like Nursing Made Incredibly Easy (the magazine)?

I had the Nursing Made Incredibly Easy but decided to cancel the subcription because it just was not worth it. It is Bi-monthly (I prefer monthly magazines) and just isn't enough stuff in it like my 1st choice, Nursing 2006. I really like the Nursing 2006 magazine because of the different columns it has. RN magazine is just as good as Nursing 2006, I just never got around to renewing my RN subscription!:)

I love RN and Nursing 2006. I really like Nursing made Incredibly easy--especially when I was in school. I think AJN has great research but its too political for my taste.

I recently divested my house of NURSING 1973-2005. Yes I had hundreds of journals, neatly filed and shelved.
It comes up for renewal and I don't think I am going to.
I've retired and will leave it to the new nurses to keep up the tradition.

OH my goodness, Please tell me you sold them on ebay or donated them. That would have been some awesome reading. Especially the 1973 issues, I was 4 years old and can't even imagine how much nursing has changed since then.)

I get Advance for Nurses. First of all - it's free. Second of all it's catered to your geographic region. To sign up I think it's advanceweb.net or .com. You click on nurses and they've got a version for RN's and a version for LPN's. It usually profiles the local hospitals, new technology, some nursing humor and CE's.
I also get AJN which I got complimentary. I just like to read up on new technology out of it and up and coming procedures.
I get ModeRN which I got with ATI. Geared more towards younger nurses.
Nursing 2006 which I also love.
