If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

I am in the process of receiving my acceptance/rejection letters from nursing schools. I will begin in January of 2016. I am thinking ahead and would love to become a Nursing Corps Scholarship for 2016-2017.
I read through the thread and congrats to all those who received the scholarship. What a great accomplishment!

Perfect thanks everyone. I went and talked to financial aid they said they dealt with them before and that the nursing corps contacts them, my schools sends the bill and then I get reimbursed for my loans. I'm calling nursing corps though just to be safe
When you mean community service is that just volunteer work or can it be work work within the community such as a medic or mental health advocate? Just curious.
Hello everyone! I just received my award letter yesterday and will be following this thread as well to figure out the next steps. My school messed up my enrollment verification form (stated that I was graduating in May 2017 and a third year student, when I am in fact graduating this May and am in a two-year program), so I'm already nervous about working with them on the billing information! It sounds as though some of you have also had difficulty getting your school to cooperate. Has anyone received a clear answer about how we're supposed to proceed with the invoice form/other reasonable costs, etc? I just sent a message to HRSA to ask if all we need to do is give the Invoice Guide to someone in financial aid. It sounds too easy :) anyway, congratulations to other participants, and good luck to everyone! This was my third time applying, so don't give up!

Congratulations PHhopeful ! Did you get your participants email or a finalist email ? Just curious by what you mean by award letter because I'm still waiting for a email (finalist email)
You don't need to do anything for other reasonable costs. They already have it computed. I emailed and they said they decided that before the finalist email came. They also said that maximum is $2300, not just the average.
I am in total shock - I got a phone call and the initial congratulations email today. I just submitted the W4, verification, and banking info - they are due on 9/19 for me. I must be one of the last people notified. I can't believe what an incredible award this is!!!
