  1. Finally got to speak to someone. My letter meant I didn't get in. They said my GPA with just the nursing classes is 2.98 and needs to be a 3.0. My overall was higher than 3.0 so I'm confused how they got that total. They accept u as a non degree to take classes and reapply. I won't be.
  2. Wow that's really annoying. I had all my pre reqs already so I wonder why I got that letter.
  3. Yea I think so too. The envelope says admissions tho
  4. I think mine went to registrar bc my "acceptance letter" is from registrar
  5. It's so unfair. This was my last try. I've been doing this for two years in sick of being rejected. Maybe it wasn't meant to be.
  6. Oh and the nursing department said they didn't receive anything from admissions office. So if you applied thru admissions they decided not the nursing program. It's separate.
  7. I applied thru admissions. I just called and the woman who answer tried to say "well if you read it completely it states that you didn't meet the requirements..." But I had to stop her bc I read it completely and it says nothing regarding the nursing program. So she transferred me to someone and they didn't answer. Idk what this is about but I'm guessing I didn't get accepted.
  8. Has anyone else applied thru admission received an acceptance letter as a "non degree"?? I'm very confused to why I am accepted as a non degree and not a nursing major??
  9. Has anyone been accepted for the scholarship and in an Entry MSN program? I'm reapplying for a direct entry MSN and this scholarship this year and hoping to get both this time around. Thanks in advance!
  10. No apologies. And it was my mistake for going with the phone interview but the snow had public transportation messed up. They don't let you know right away. I was told I would get a email in a few weeks. I knew by the way she said it that it wouldn't be a good email. I ended up getting a letter in the mail a few weeks after. I do know someone who got the email of acceptance the day after their interview. My best advice, don't be nervous or at least don't show it, speak clearly and confidently, and don't ramble. Best of luck, I hope you get accepted.
  11. Hi, yeah I'm willing to help especially since no one was able to answer me. But honestly prepare for them to ask you ANYTHING. I was suppose to do an in person interview but with the weather I settled for the phone interview and I believe it was a big mistake. I had two people interviewing me over the phone and they asked very random question, not much of proving why I want to be in the program but more of why I got such and such grades in my undergrad degree and other random questions based on my academic past. Honestly I felt attacked but I know they were doing their jobs. Unfortunately they didn't accept me so I hope you can convince them better than I did. Prepare to explain why this school and program and how you will commute or set up a place to stay if you are an out of state student. Know the basic interview questions as well. And please do an in person interview instead of over the phone it seems to be a big plus. I hope this helps if I can think of anything else I will add later.
  12. I have an interview for seton hall next week and was wondering if you recall your experience with the interview and if there is anything you can share? also if you went with seton hall and how do u like it. Btw I applied for the MSN/CNL program. Thnx!
  13. Hi I have an interview next week for this program and would like to know any tips and how to prepare for the interview? If anyone recalls their experience it would be appreciated. Also for those already in the program how are you liking it? Thank u!
  14. Hey just received my denial email. I was unable to start my program that began this week. Now I will be looking for an entry masters program and reapplying. Better luck next time I guess. Good luck to everyone who's in school now and good luck to those who will be reapplying. I'm glad "the wait" is over for now.
