  1. Thanks again for your reply. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Nassau has that particular degree. I will look into some of the other area schools.
  2. Really? That would be great. Can you tell me a little bit more about that particular area so I can look into it? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I took my TEAS test on Friday as well. I am not too confident that i will be admitted to the program honestly. I realize that although the pre-reqs are not required they are highly encouraged and there are a few that I need to take. I found out on Friday that if I am not accepted into the program I would have to pay out of pocket if I wanted to take some of the pre-reqs because I would not be able to get financial aid since technically I would not be in a degree program. I am disappointed as I really wanted to begin this program. I know I haven't been rejected yet but everyone else did so well and have high GPAs I don't think I have a chance. Either way, I'm wishing you all luck :-)
  4. Hi rx.bdecarlo, during the nursing info session we were told that we should find out by the end of April.
  5. Ok thank you for the suggestion. I found a book called Teas Crash Course by REA (Research & Education Association) and so far it has been really helpful. I've been spending most of my time focusing on the Math section. It's getting closer to test time so I'm a little nervous.
  6. Hi Merciq1, thanks for responding. After checking my undergrad curriculum I may have everything except A&P 1 and 2, Micro and Ethics. I'm worried about that as I see that it's better to have all of the courses done even though they said pre-reqs are not required. I'm hoping for the best but also realistic. Any advice for the TEAS test? I went to an info session on 3/8 and they said that Science is not considered. That is a huge plus for me. I will be focusing on studying for Math as that will be my weakest area.
  7. Hello, I am wondering if there is anyone here that is applying to Nassau for Fall 2016. I have applied and I'm scheduled to take my TEAS exam on 3/18. I do not have all of my pre-requisites which I understand gives me a better chance of being admitted. I plan to take classes this summer and will take the rest in the Fall if I'm not admitted. I would just like to know thoughts on getting into this program. Also, if there is anyone currently in the program please share your thoughts on how things are going for you. Thanks!
