You guys probably heard that 457 visas are about to get abolished. This is quite sad. But hey, at least were on the SOL. PR is the right and only way to go.

Well I guess after all the updates, we're still safe so to speak.. kinda scary though, a lot of skills have been removed from the SOL.

Yeah.. Whew.. Anyway, I would like to share something I read from one of the replies of DIBP in FB. This is about someone who plans to apply for a 457 visa next month and this is DIBP's reply:

"The 457 visa is still open to applications, however, there are a few changes that will take effect until the new Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) visa comes into effect in March 2018.

The fact sheet on our website (accessed through the link on the original post) will help answer your questions about what is changing and when.

All the best."

Hi I'm Bryan a registered nurse from the Philippines, can anyone help me with vaccination requirements for Lonsdale Institute? I have lost my record of vaccinations when i was a baby and i am lost with what to present as proof that i did have BCG vaccination as well as DTP.

Thank you in advance!

Hi to all who got their Letter of Eligibility to take the IRON program.

I just submitted my documents with AGOS-40 to AHPRA last 7th of April. According to my courier, they delivered my documents last 18th of April. However, I haven't received any update or email from AHPRA. How long did you get an update from AHPRA that they received your documents or should I email them?

Please help.

Hello future classmate! :) which visa did you apply for, and when do you plan to lodge it?

Hi people. Just want to ask how did you guys processed your CHED accreditation? I was told by phone that the processing is minimum of two weeks. How was your experience especially to those who applied recently. TIA

You must go to your college/university. Once you have completed all the documents needed, you'll bring the sealed envelope that was given to you by your school directly to CHED.

Thanks for the reply. My mom went to my uni to process the required documents but I don't think it's in a sealed envelope though. Also, does CHED really need a minimum of two weeks to process it?

Actually I graduated from a state university and so I didnt need to go to CHED. I just have an idea because my friend graduated from a private institution. I don't think it will take that long. Requesting documents from your uni may even take longer because you need to request for your RLE (if you don't have one yet).

Hi, I would just like to clarify this one. Is it still being asked by AHPRA? I read a lot about his in this and other forums and was advised that it is not required anymore. This is the reason we are undergoing the IRON program.
