Immigration Requirements for Australia and New Zealand
Hello fellow nurses! Does anyone know if ANMAC considers being a volunteer as valid nursing experience as obviously no pays lips/tax contribution could be given as evidence? I'm trying to explore my options post BP. Thanks heaps! í ½í¸Š

Bridging Program in Australia
I have the same question. I'll be for July intake in Perth. I'm not entirely sure which is more practical, taking the IHNA accommodation or renting a place near the campus. Have you made arrangements with them already?

There is a toll free contact number in their website. Try calling that and request to be connected to your specific branch or to your officer.

Bridging Program in Australia
Hello all! Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get a copy of my immigration medical results to comply with the bridging school's immunization and serology requirement? I'm hoping to save some bucks by not doing double serologies. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks so much! :)

Bridging Program in Australia
Hi! I'm for the July intake with IHNA Perth. They didn't interview me. After complying with the documents and filling up an online application in the student portal, they will send you an offer letter and invoice. This is when you could pay the downpayment. Only when they confirm that they received the downpayment will you secure a slot. I call them every now and then after each step just to follow up. :)

How long have you been waiting for IHNA's confirmation? If you have been waiting for a while, try to give them a call. Slots are filling up quite fast. I almost got moved to a later intake eventhough my friend and I paid the downpayment just a day apart. The staff are very accommodating. You're welcome. I wish you good luck too! :)

The application checklist says to provide a bank statement covering at least the last month. My friend used her tuition fee (11450AUD) minus the downpayment (1500AUD) as evidence of funds, and got approved with no problem. So around 9950AUD. I'm doing the same, but i'm yet to lodge my visa. I hope this helps.

Thank you for this! I'm just waiting for my employer's decision regarding my leave request, then I'd be able to lodge the visa application. Are you leaving immediately after the course ends, or will you allot a few days to sort out the documentation to re-apply with AHPRA? I'm quite anxious as to how long i should request for leave. My employer is not very keen to grant me a very long one.

Tuition fee is in the 12k aud. She paid the downpayment to the school already so she was able to secure her slot. The remaining amount, she used as financial evidence.

My friend used her tuition fee as financial evidence when she applied for such visa. Probably about 12k AUD? She got approved with no problem.
