Hey people! I've been interested in the HRSA Nurse Corps Loan repayment program for several years, just never took the time to apply. I am full-time nurse faculty in an BSN program. For those who have applied before:
1. When does the cycle usually open? ( I have signed up for updates)
2. How do you calculate your DTI? (This is all new to me?)
Thanks for your responses. Hopefully we can kick some student loan debt in the butt!! I'm excited and haven't even applied yet! Blessings to you all!
Cycle open today!!!!?
Who's applying??

My husband applied, he’s an adult NP, first time applying.
I don’t know exactly when the cycle opens but I know it’s open now.
I was also wondering how other people calculate their DTI.

I finished and submitted my application on 2/11. But, I just realized that I wasn't asked to provide any salary info and it isn't on my submitted application. Does anyone know how they get your income??
Also, did anyone else have trouble with verifying your NPI?
I’m almost finished but don’t know answer to that question.
Were you able to upload loans via federal loan website or did you have to submit individually? Anyone know how to request supporting documentation they are requesting in case loans have to be submitted individually?
I called Discover and they sent me a doc with the info for my private loans (origination date, original loan amount, etc). My federal loans uploaded through the automatic system.
Interesting...I keep getting error message when attempting to use automated system.
The application didn't require you at all to submit any income documentation? Maybe they will pull our info from IRS? I'm sure we've given them permission to look into any area of our lives LOL

I am currently working on the app and just wondering when it asks the number of patients served is that by myself personally, as a unit, or as a hospital in general? Thanks!
I responded by how many patients I directly impacted, so personally. They were really vague.
I called and asked. They get your income info from the EV. I work in an ICU so # of patients was kind of hard to estimate. We have a few patients that stick around for long periods so I averaged 200 across a year...

Thanks a lot for sharing that!
My federal loan data did not populate automatically, and so I am working to enter it manually. Does anyone know how to get the NSLDS data sheet? I found it online but it's a very unorganized looking document, and just wondering if that's the case for anyone else entering federal loans manually?
