Hey guys, I'm trying to apply for this scholarship and I need a little help with this question on the application. Please can anyone explain what they meant here? I just completed my associate degree in health science and prerequisite included and planning on transferring for my Bachelor's in Nursing. Thank you
Is this entry program Bachelor's (non-nursing) Generalist? Note: To be eligible for the Nurse Corps SP award the applicant must be enrolled in the graduate portion of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing Program, which confers an MSN or degree. In addition, the Applicant holds an unencumbered RN license in a state, the District of Columbia, or a U.S territory, is accepted/ enrolled in the NP portion of the graduate degree, and degree and applied for Master's or Doctorate NP funding.
Yes or No

I just put no. This question confused me too but I'm going for my BSN so if your going for you nursing license the answer would be no.
For the Verification of Acceptance/Enrollment Verification form are we supposed to send that to the school and have them fill it out for us?

Hello! I had a question about the Professional References. I have not been in school for a few years now. I am also not working in the medical field (financial job). Who would I ask for a reference? I am also going for my BSN.

I am applying for the scholarship and I already took a loan out to pay for school. Does anyone know how it works with the scholarship? Will it pay the loan off directly or will that be a disbursement?

Hey everyone,
When do we submit the verification of acceptance/letter of good standing? With the application documents or when the HRSA requests additional documentation? Thanks

Hi everyone,
I'm enrolled to start my ABSN program in the Fall and am applying for Nurse Corps.n
On the 'verification of good standing' form the school fills out there is a question that says "Is this enrollment conditional? Y /N" and "If so, what are the conditions of enrollment?"
My university circled "Y" that my enrollment was conditional When I asked the admissions counselor why, she said it was because it was conditional on compliance requirements like immunizations, background and criminal background check, and drug screen (stuff most of us in the cohort haven't finished yet because it's not due til later in the Summer.
I'm concerned that this may preclude me from being eligible for the scholarship. Did anyone else have this happen where your school said your admission was conditional? Was it based on compliance?
I almost get a vibe that the school is somehow reluctant about helping students get this or that the admissions officer is being petty, but of course I can't know that. It just seems weird that they'd say I had conditional admission just based on compliance stuff.
Has anyone else had this form checked this way, or did your school just say you were enrolled?
Also had a question --did everyone going into an ABSN or direct entry MSN who is applying submit their undergrad transcripts to nurse corps, or most recent (prerequisite) transcripts? It's weird it only allows you to submit one transcript.
This question confused me too, I wasn't sure what it meant. Finally I decided to put "No."
