Hey ALL
This is role call as the date approaches for the board to meet so we can support each other: Yikes! My packet is ready and is going to the Board for approval for me to enter as a commissioned officer into the U.S. Army Reserves. Anyone else ? (Dates are November 18 and December 4)
Good Luck to all
runninmom,
We must have the same kind of anxious blood. I was laughing because I know I would have done the same thing while waiting on my packet. Well you can give your finger nails, cleaning supplies and carpet some rest.

Hi all!well, after an hour of some kick-ass Tao bo (Amped mind you) and some more house cleaning.......... i got ahold of the recruiter (ok......... i texted him)........ he said he hadn't heard anything.......... good grief......... well, not even two minutes later, he was calling.........
" well, I guess you're on pins and needles huh"? he asked. (what an underestimate I thought) but anyway, "yeah" I replied. "Well, let me be the first to call you 1st Lt. Edie Cardwell. Congratulations!. I knew you'd get approved!". Good Grief! I have been under so much stress lately, I cried........
Hooah! Something good for a change.

thanks to all for your support!

CONGRATS TO YOU.....:redpinkhe:nurse:
Good luck to all, I went thru active duty boards this summer. Most people are fine as long as you have no suspect activity in your background. The main thing is making sure your recruiter has all paperwork on hand for the board. Mine was delayed for a month or 2 for some reason. I did not have any problems when I went thru the reserves AMEDD boards and heard back rather quick. I am reporting for active duty in March 2009 for Captain's Career Course and to CRNA school in June. I went thru OBC-reserves in 2004 and it has changed some (for the better). I have been a reserve officer for 4 years and was enlisted before that for some time. If anyone has any questions, feel free to message me.

I thought I was denied the november board but that isnt what happened. the people before the board saw there wasnt an age in grade waiver and kicked it back before it even went to the board. the recruiter submitted the waiver and that will be with it when it goes before the board tomorrow.
Patty...........
and I got word from ArmyNurse2Bsoon:
She's being boarded this week too.... she just hasn't been on the forum this week because her honey is home for leave from IRAQ (HI JAY!!!!!!! GLAD YOU COULD MAKE IT HOME)...... but, she heard from her recruiter that her packet made it for the the December deadline and is to the board.. so ladies..................
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
we anxiously wait to hear........

1st Lt..... packet went to Board last Thursday after a bit of running around.
As I told you needed transcripts not diplomas............ and they want official (sealed) transcripts
also....195's 2 from supervisors again supervisors.....not charge nurses, not preceptors............. supervisors............. (it's not at you...... but it boils down to verbage ridiculous isn't it) and the scores on the 195's need to be 5's or greater or there needs to be explanations
