Hi all!

well, after an hour of some kick-ass Tao bo (Amped mind you) and some more house cleaning.......... i got ahold of the recruiter (ok......... i texted him)........ he said he hadn't heard anything.......... good grief......... well, not even two minutes later, he was calling.........

" well, I guess you're on pins and needles huh"? he asked. (what an underestimate I thought) but anyway, "yeah" I replied. "Well, let me be the first to call you 1st Lt. Edie Cardwell. Congratulations!. I knew you'd get approved!". Good Grief! I have been under so much stress lately, I cried........

Hooah! Something good for a change.:yeah::yeah:

thanks to all for your support!

p.s. I need to make some corrections..... my original post i spelled the acronym Amedd wrong (put two "M's"..... and Roll" (I put role) damn!) shame on me spelling used to be my strong point.....

I found this thread googling, I wished I would have found it months ago. My recruiter thinks I will be boarded in nov or dec, says he sent it all last tuesday. I am in MO now, my FL home was destroyed in hurricane frances/jeanne in 2004, the only things missing are the actual diplomas as they were destroyed, he is hoping the transcripts that say degree conferred will work. It is tues am and I havent heard from him, I did try to call and text but havent heard anything, he might have went somewhere for vacation. He has one of those sprint phones and their coverage isnt the best. did any of you get any credit for years experience? are they good years or not? I have been a nurse 24 years I have an ADN but also a BS in biochemistry. I am boarded as a nurse 2 in the VA system which they say is similar to what a capt is in the military. It is after 3 am and I have to leave for work at 10am to work till midnight. thanks if any of you have any advice. I am 43 hope they dont think I am too old

wow you've been through a lot! Congrats for getting through it all and continuing on and striving to make a difference! As for being too old--nah I'm 45 and just got my commission last week!

as for the other stuff...... I had to get official transcripts from the schools I attended...the diplomas weren't needed.

Hope that helps.

and I look forward to reading in the very near future that you will be commissioned!

were you boarded as a 1st lt or a 2nd lt?
