2019 NHSC Loan Repayment Program

Hello everyone! I applied for the 2019 cycle of the NHSC Loan Repayment Program. I noticed that threads have been started every year for the application process. I am a first time applicant and hoping to connect with others who have applied for the NHSC LRP and we can all share our updates here.

    I applied this year as well. I’m a NP with a site score of 18. I’m not sure how far down the scores they have gone lately so I’m not sure if I should be hopeful or not lol. I hope you have good luck!

    Anyone got an update on NHSC LRP application? I was reading through another thread but it appears to be more Nurse Corp. I got a credit check from Credco yesterday. Staying hopeful.

    Also received Credco credit check but no other updates when I check the portal. Has anyone else received any other contact from HRSA?

    Still waiting. Another thread has lots of Nurse Corp LRP applicants who have already received their initial award email. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Approved for SUD NHSC with welcome packet 7/26/19 ( cc 4/19, COI 7/11/19). There's alot of NHSC finalist on the other page. I didn't see alot of NURSECORPS finalists. It's confusing now reading through their posts because its mixed with all 3 loans.

    I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that hasn't heard anything about the LRP! I check out the responses here every day! : )

    Hopefully we'll be hearing yay or nay very soon! I've heard good and bad about HRSA! 50K can't be all that bad!! : ) My work has a score of 18 or 19....Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone!!

    Has anyone who applied for NHSC LRP had their application status changed in portal? Mine still shows "under review". Have looked at other threads and appears nurse corps, SUD, and rural community tracts have already received notifications.

    I thought I saw some NHSC LRP with offers on the other thread. The whole thing is getting so depressing for me but I’m trying to stay hopeful.
