  1. Looks like nurse corps and was awarded in August, which fits with the middle of the month after your award email.
  2. From what I can tell you typically get a payment tab on your program portal mid month the month AFTeR you got your award letter, showing the first payment as processing. Then that payment typically clears your bank a few days later, around the 15-17th each month. This is just what I gather from on here and people I know who have gotten it. And no, I believe the October payment will just be for October.
  3. I’m pretty sure the NP that got the counter signature was either NHSC or rural community LRP not the nurse corps LRP. From what I gather the counter signatures in past for the nurse corps are typically about 30 days after. I’m checking like crazy too but not going to think anything of it until after at least 9/7
  4. I haven’t heard of that situation yet. If all of the loans were for nursing only and all were approved I think may be ok, but I would definitely call HRSA and ask specifics. The last thing I would want it to risk a breach of contract once they co-sign it.
  5. I don’t believe they say why not. But try not to fret yet, I believe awards keep going out to at least some degree up until closer to the end in past years if I remember.
  6. The applications makes it sound like at least some types of consolidated loans are ok, I think when they are only related to the degree if I remember right. I also got my finalist email for the Nurse Corps LRP today, FNP at FQHC. I didn’t pay too much attention to previous years as I figured might take multiple years but does anyone know how long it typically takes for the counter signature if you are awarded?
  7. Which program did you get the offer for? The Nurse Corps is a flat percent of your eligible student loans, which I believe is 65%?
  8. Which one did you get, the NHSC or Nurse Corps? And are you a primary care or psych? What is your site score and DTI? And Congrats!!!!!
  9. I don’t think it matters, going through past years they did on some people but not others and both would get awards or not. I would imagine maybe they pull a second one if your credit isn’t that good? I had some issues financially prior to starting my job so my credit isn’t very good. Maybe that’s why I got the second check to make sure I was still paying them and they hadn’t defaulted?
  10. I applied to both as well and haven’t heard of any NP getting either
  11. I work at a FQHC FNP site score of 17 for primary care and 23 for mental health. It would be amazing if they would look at the mental health site score but since I’m Primary care I don’t believe they do. My DTI is about 145%. I had two credit checks and no word since. I don’t think primary care NPs have been awarded yet, at least I don’t know of any.
  12. Now that I slept on it, I’m kind of worried the other way, do people that normally get it only get one check? Maybe there was something wrong on my application and they are just verifying it? I really don’t understand why they would do two checks for the same application as they do them to verify your loans and a second one wouldn’t really tell them anything different...
  13. I just received a second check from Credco. I did apply for both NHSC and Nurse Corps so not sure if it was the NHSC this time or Nurse Corps again but I’m taking it as Hope!
  14. I’m both. Not sure how to know which one would have pulled it.
