I haven't seen a forum for this year's cycle of NHSC LRP so I decided to start one. I am getting anxious. By this time last year alot of people had seen credit checks and some had received COIs. Has anyone heard anything?

I just looked last night on here to see if a thread had been started because I still haven't heard anything either. My application states "Under Review" at this time.

My application still says under review as well.   I am hopeful as three other providers in my practice received it last year.

I do think they application last year was earlier than April.   I feel like it was due Feb.

Same. What is your facilities HPSA score ?

17.   I am a midwife so there is also a maternal score that I don't fully understand.

I applied for the first time this year as well. I work at a rural clinic with a score of 14. I am a PMHNP. Application status is under review.

Hi all! Does anyone know if you are allowed to apply to more than one HRSA loan repayment program? I applied for the Nurse Corps program and am still waiting to hear back. I discovered today that there is a new program called Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment, which is focused on mental health. I am a peds NP working in a residential eating disorder facility so I might be eligible for this. Our site point-of-contact is going to look into getting us listed as an eligible site. If we are able to, I'm wondering if I can apply for this program while I am waiting to hear back from the other? I know I can't accept both awards but, if chosen for both, would I be able to pick which one I take? Thanks in advance!

I think you can apply for both.  I just don't know that the acceptance will overlap where you will have time to chose one or the other.  

Based on last year's timeline it doesn't look like we will even hear anything until around September.   I hate waiting.   The anticipation is killing me, LOL.

Has anybody had a credit check yet for this? I'm nervously waiting. I guess the upside is only 3 more months of potential waiting.

I've been checking my credit hoping to see something and nothing yet. This is such a long wait!
