New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

i just passed the nclex. yehey. took it last june 21 in hong kong. took me 86 questions. i checked the NM BON website license verification today and found my name and license number there. thanks to allnurses forums, suzzane for the review tips and all those who answered all my queries.

Hi guys! I passed NCLEX already and I am/was a JUne 06 NLE passer and I took the whole NLE exam JUne 07, do you think i should wait or the NLE result before I can endorse my license? Has anyone done this considering the situation I am in? :) Can I do the Visa screen now? Please advice.Thanks

you can start your visa screen now but they will need to know that you are waiting for the results of NLE

I applied for both the license endorsement and VSC immediately after being done with the NCLEX and IELTS. Now, I have been issued a license by IDFPR (Illinois Board of Nursing). I suggest you get things started as the process takes some time. Don't let the circumstances around you hinder you in achieving your goal. Keep the faith and your hope in the Lord and surely, you'll get there. God bless.

nwei, bout the signature at the examination payment form. i will be using the credit card of my sister.. whose signature will appear on that form below the credit card # and expiration date?.... mine, since i am the applicant or my sister's signature since she is the cardholder???.. thanks.

The cardholder (your sister) should be the one to sign the payment form, that is, she is authorizing the charging of the fees to her credit account

hi everyone its me again...its been 4 weeks and i still haven't received my ATT, ive tried emailing ms vidaurri,chatting with pearson vue and until now still no word from NM BON..:uhoh3: HELP please...

another problem...my girlfriend received snail mail from NM BON with her fingerprint card...we applied at the same time...but apparently there was an error with her card, and NM wants her to send 2 new completed fingerprint card...the things is ms. vidaurri aleady emailed us that our file was complete and we have already registered at pearson vue...need help please..any thoughts? are we still going to pay NM DPOS? what should we do? we're getting really worried....thanks

hello everyone, esp suzanne and silver dragon, who answered most of my previous questions.. ive been reading this thread about New Mexico application for licensure.. i also visited the site of the BON, and looked for the requirements.. it seems they don't require local board but only TOR, aside from finger print card and fees...they didn't mention anything about any license, just TOR.. i guess i could apply here, eliminating any delay for my application because of the result of NLE.. i understand that i still need a passing result for my Visa Screen...

you will have to let NM know that you have taken the exam and they may delay your application until you have your results. The issue is you have taken it so therefore have to declare it not just for vsc but also to the BON

hi! juz wanna ask if its ok to send to NM BON the TOR etc. from school even if i dont receive yet the fingerprint cards??

i have requested the fingerprint cards thru email already. Will i be receiving a reply from them stating that they received my email and they will send me the FP cards??
