New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

hi guys..just had my fingerprint taken from NBI..no sweat...in less than 20 min..ok na...but the guy just signed the paper..what else do i have to put in the fingerprint card?

by the way, im going to use credit card..will i include the 31 $ for the DPS?

i think DPS does not accept payment thru credit card. read the forms/instructions from the website for the latest policy.

ei borj sori for the late reply. its been i while since i checked the forums.dps payment you need to ask a bank about it.me i used BPI. and i think theyll give you a dollar demand draft payable to DPS.NM says that they need cashier's check but when you ask the bank about it they will say that dollar demand draft is equivalent to cashiers check in the US.

And for your pm best courier is FEDEX for your applicaition forms. and also if you're gonna mail it already be sure to write at the buttom of the envelope the content of it like " NCLEX APPLICATION FORMS - NON US GRAD"

Hey wendy has your transcipt already been evaluated? coz ive been waiting a long time already. still they havent given me any news. when i email sabrina all she say is that she'll email me if she have news. sometimes i kinda think that its an autoreply email coz she keeps on saying that on all my emails. lol ^^

NM BON received my application on Dec 4. I haven't received my eligibility yet. Is there anyone here with the same experience?

I heard that NM is experiencing a heavy winter season that resulted in the offices being closed a few weeks ago. Just don't know if this is true..

ric13 when did you send your application to NMBON? My friends and I sent ours last Nov. 28 and our school credentials were sent earlier - last Nov. 7 and yet up to now, we still have not received our eligibility/ies.

We sent our applications via LBC and according to the mail tracker, our applications were received last Dec. 1 by the NM BON.

Please give them time. It currently takes 2-3 months now and they did say to give them 60 days.

I have a ; maybe, stupid question but I am not familir with this state board because I am applying in Kansas, but anyway, a friend of mine is going to applied in New Mexico.

Does New Mexico require the TOEFL in order to issue an ATT?

If so, how much should the score be?

I skimed over their website and I couldn't find the information.

TOEFL is not required for NM licensure.

my application forms were sent last dec. 13. and my transcript was 3 weeks earlier.upto now nothing. i think we're all in the same boat. ^^

borj i think you need a dollar account. as for me my father has a dollar account in BPI so it was charged to him. maybe if you know someone who has or you could open one yourself. better try asking BPI about it. no harm in asking. ^^

You do not need a dollar account, you only need to purchase a bank draft drawn on US funds, or a money order payable in US funds.
