NVC -CP- GC Tracker
Just got my fee bill. Unfortunately, I have to send the bank draft to a P.O. box address in Missouri. Has anybody (from the Philippines) tried sending it through the Philippine post office, express mail service, specifically? How long did it take? I was thinking of Fedex-ing it to my mom-in-law in CA then she'll be the one to send it on to NVC through the USPS. Would appreciate your thoughts on the matter. Thanks!

International Nurses: how long did it take CGFNS to evaluate your credentials?
I think my CES report was issued in 1 & 1/2 months. It just took a couple weeks more to get to the Philippines coz CG sends it by snail mail.

New Mexico Licensure Question
I got my ATT yesterday, March 10 . Unfortunately, Hong Kong is not available within my validity dates so I had to get a slot in Taipei. I've never been there so it's gonna be exciting ! And taking the NCLEX on top of that;) ! Anyone who has experienced taking NCLEX there or has travelled there recently, I'd appreciate any feedback with regards to visa requirements and processing, safe & cheap hotels/hostels, transpo, etc. Thanks so much..

New Mexico Licensure Question
I have the same question as the previous post. I paid Pearson Vue on March 1 (Thu), same day I got the email confirming my elig. According to Pearson, they need 24 hrs to link my account/payment with the BON. Up to now, my account still says, 'eligibility pending'. How long will it take them to verify it with NM BON? Do I email NM BON &/or Pearson? Thanks for your time and insight..

New Mexico Licensure Question
My application was received by NM BON on Dec 4. My school requirements were received by same on Nov 29. I just got my elig today. A month ago, Ms. Vidaurri emailed me & told me that she was working on Nov & Dec applications. A week ago, she informed me that she is currently working on a 4-month backlog. I guess, everybody joined in the bandwagon.. :)

Do I need to wait for BON's go-signal before I can register for pearsonvue?
My application was received by NM BON on Dec 4, accdg to the Fedex website. The school requirements were received a few days prior. A month ago, Ms. Vidaurri told me thru email that she was working on November & December applications. I emailed her again a week ago and she told me that she is currently working on a 4-month backlog. My spirit was dashed!!! But this morning, I got my LONG AWAITED eligibility. So take heart, it will come soon ..

need advice
If you are able to shoulder all costs, that is the best way to go. For it is ALWAYS better TO BE IN CONTROL of your own time frame, processing, etc. than rely on not-so-reliable persons/agencies. There's no such thing as free lunch..

New Mexico Licensure Question
Are you from the Philippines? Unfortunately, NBI does not accept/allow downloaded fp forms. You can go to the US Embassy in Roxas Blvd, Mon-Fri, 10am up. Inform the gate guard that you are going to get a FP card for NCLEX. He'll direct you to the information window at the front. Inform the Info Officer of your purpose and show your completed NM application, if asked. He will then tell you to go to window X. The Officer at window X has a ready supply of NM FP cards, he'll give you 2 cards.

New Mexico Licensure Question
You got right into my head, lawrence01. The filing of the I140 is my main concern right now so that when favorable immigration laws are in place, hopefully, by next year's end :), I should be in packet 3 or better, 4. You're right about the employer thing too. They have a great offer - maybe because they are in AZ. This makes me a bit nervous plus the fact that knowledge of Spanish is highly recommended. I have checked this city's crime rates, population, houses, school districts, etc. The figures are better than most overcrowded cities in the US. I met a FilAm preceptor last year and she had favorable info on my employer since she started with them in the 80s. She also said that it will be a great place for my family. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed..
