New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

Hi guys! foreign grad here in da house!hehe Does the NM board of nursing charge fees for the evaluation of TOR/RLE? If ever they charge fees, how much is it and what are the specific instructions for paying? Regarding the criminal history screening, do I need to fill up and submit the fingerprint certificate form or is it only the fingerprint cards that I have to submit?

Yes, they do. Pls. take the time to read the thread as this has been discussed countless times and also do download the application forms and instructions from their website. Everything is in there and almost everything was one way or another discussed in this thread already. Thank you.

I applied through NM and was told it is not a pre requirement if you not a USA citizen

All of the basic info and forms can be found here. It is best to visit first the official site and download the forms.

For general inquiries I would suggest that you browse all the posts within this thread. They would answer most (if not all) of your questions (including the ones above).

My TOR was sent to NM BON last October 2006 and until now no reply from them. Is it really that long to wait?

Hi i just want to ask something. Ms Vidaurri just emailed me with this update on my application:

Your file is now complete with the board and you need to register with Pearson VUE for receipt of your ATT, you can register online @ http://www.pearsonvue.com/nclex

You are already eligible but would have to register to pearson to get your actual ATT and make an appointment thru phone if you choose to take the NCLEX in the Asia-Pacific region. Available slots can be seen only thru your personal on-line account w/ pearson.

How long does it take for them to grant eligibility now?

my transcript was 1month earlier to my application. i mailed my application forms dec 14 by FEDEX. received on dec 16 and they emailed me yesterday jan 25 with this. quite fast considering the holiday season.

im not planning to take the exam yet.i can hold my registration to pearson for a while right? i havent finished reviewing..
