I'm just coming from Africa and also I want to do the LPN/LVN program. Before taking informations at the College in January, Can U help me to answer to these questions?

- When they say the LPN program it's 12 months, are the prerequisites included?

- What steps have you used to be enrolled.

My LPN program is 3 semesters long & that's not including the prerequisites.

I just finished my a&p today! Starting at Gurnick Academy Fresno on Jan 10. It's a 14 month program, and I'm really excited!!!

congrats to everyone starting the lpn/lvn program in the spring!:yeah:i started in august of this year, approaching my 2nd semester this spring. it's alot of studying, i can't stress that enough, but it's really wonderful. i love the program and i'm already beginning to feel like a nurse. it's a wonderful experience, you and the classmates come to love and care about each other and they become your 2nd family. :heartbeat

I just got accepted about 3 weeks ago and wow am I super excited! I start on January 20th in the weekend class (Thursday through Sunday) at Wright College/Humboldt Park Vocational Center, here in Chicago. I am very excited yet very nervous!
