etc....

anyone entering in Jan 2011?

where?

I'll be in PA

have to purchase and do my dosage chapters!

Has anyone started reading their Pharm book yet? Im having a heck of a time remembering these conversion factors.

who knows grains to grams or milligrams, ounces to milliliters, etc?

Im not a math wizard and these numbers just run together for me.

Hi msnisha - I did take my prereq's at Gurnick, and I wish you lots of good luck in January!

I haven't yet recieved my list of things that i must have for school. Some people have told me that the steth came with a kit..and not to purchase a bp cuff because that also comes with the kit. I am a little anxious and antsy and would like to start purchasing things now lol. I start classes in March. Would it be a good idea to purchase a couple of things before recieving the list..Like my steth..and a bp cuff..pen light and bandage scissors. I've researched this on this website but im getting to wait..and then some are getting things soon. If you can give me a reply id appreciate it.

Thanks

Shaniece

I'm reading all of your posts and it is making me so excited for Jan. 12th when I start my first day of class!:yeah:

We are about to embark on an incredibly special, wonderful, exciting, exhausting, rewarding, stressful, hard, and AMAZING journey that is sure to try each and every one of our patience and the patience of our loved ones but when we have finished school, and accomplished this GREAT ADVENTURE, I know that it will all be worth it!!:lol2:

Good luck to each and every one of you and may God be with you!:nurse:

Hi everyone!

I'm from Florida, and I am hoping to join the LPN program. Thing is they say you can give either high school or college transcripts. The reason I would want to give high school is of course because the GPA is higher, but do they mean if you just got out of high school to give them those and if you are in college to give them those transcripts? I'm confused.

Hello,

I don't know for sure how it is done in FL where you are from, but here in Kansas, my college took my previous college GPA because I had attended college classes already and the req. had to be met (Math, A&P etc...) too before I was accepted. I too had a higher high school GPA but then again I am now 39 years old returning to school;)

Good Luck!:uhoh3:
