Can LPN's Be a Scrub Nurse???
I'm going to be attending and LPN program, and I'm aiming for my RN and eventually would like to become a Scrub Nurse. In one of the clinicals that we go through is Med/Surg and we get to go into surgeries. My Question is do I have to become an RN to be able to become a Scrub Nurse or can I be an LPN and do it while I get my RN? And any advice you can give me as to ways of obtaining extra training to become a Scrub Nurse? Is there a certain continuing education to take or is it train on the job? If there is a certain CEU, which one is the best to take? Thank you very much for taking your time to read my post:D

LPN Moving to Columbia/ Jeff City MO
https://jobs.missouri.edu/vacancylist.php#lvl3_135 There's the website. I guess that $13.40/hr was for student LPN's getting ready to graduate. But you never know!!! I belive there is like 5-6 postings for LPN's. And I;m sure if you're going back to school for your RN they'll definitely help out

Lets get a current salary thread going for 09/10
What area in Mo are you in? I just took my TEAS test and got a 78 and all I have to do is go for an interview and hopefully get selected for starting LPN program in January. I was curious if you are more in the KC/STL area or Jeff City/Columbia. I live at the 10 minutes north of the lake and was hoping to get an idea on the pay scale. Thank you! :)
