This is how my school is as well, but we don't get our remaining money until the 2nd wk. of Feb.

I think it's normal!! ..Sounds like someone I know. lol

I'm not doing a whole lot just enjoying my time before I start the program. (Jan. 10th)

Hi heavenbound, Nursing will be my 2nd career. I'm leaving a job of 20 yrs. to go to nursing school, that's why I'm so scared. I pinch myself everyday and thank god, cause I still can't believe I got accepted into the program.:yeah:I keep telling myself god will provide a way for me to afford to go as well. Congrats heavenbound for getting accepted.

My LPN program is 3 semesters long & that's not including the prerequisites.

I was just taught this technique as well in my class 'BLS for the health care provider' a few months ago.

hey csantos, it is passing by rather quickly, but i do wish i was starting school sooner. i've read on the boards here that i/we should enjoy our time before we start ns.

i can relate i hate my job!!! been in/at it for 19 yrs. i'm so ready for a career change. i have to work at my job until jan. grrrr... that's when i start my prerequisite, plus i need to make a few more car payments then it's all mine. tee heee i'm so excited/scare at the same time, i've been out of school for 20 yrs. i sure hope i can keep up. congrats to you'll that is starting sooner.
