Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
THANKS POOWER!!i am sorry but i can't find the australian forum.. can you give me the link. sorry for the trouble. thank you so much for your answer! i am really quite lost to what i should do.
The Australian forum is a sub forum in this forum and if you look on the main International page you will see it near the top
hi! are you pertaining to Flinders South Australia? I am hoping to get there next year instead of UniSA because you're right, the tuition is more affordable. I am already here in S.A. just waiting for some papers so I could pass it to IDP-Adelaide. As to your finances, relatives in other countries can help you. You just have to request bank certificate/statement from them. somebody answered that query in this site. I think it's a sort of guarantee that relatives abroad can assist you, not necessarily from Australia but others who are abroad. Maybe you can back read 100 pages from here.....the forumers are a big help. Ryan was the 1 who enlightened me 1st here. hahah!
yeah i am pertaining to Flinders South AU under post-reg BSN...yes i have relatives from abroad but the problem is they won't help me (shucks)...i don't know why....maybe because i want to go to AU instead of the US hahaha.....maybe the answer to my queries is a migration agency (legit)....most of my relatives want me to join them in the US but i really want to go to AU to step up to myself....
BTW....am i assured to have work under student visa (secured job placement)? my sister in UK is insisting that there is no guarantee for me to have a decent job to finance my studies in AU...

Wow! You prefer AU than USA even if you'll have more convenience there because of your family? That's really surprising! But if you want to strive in AU! Go for it! Just do some research and ask reliable agency or consultants. With your determination, I'm sure you can achieve what you want. Good luck! ^^

I'm wondering about this Community Services Work. I want to take this chance if I can only see some relevance regarding nursing. And after I finish the CSW program, what are my job options to earn money and save for further nursing education? Enlighten me please.
