Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
Guys.. question..can I lodge my application to NBV even though I still didn't have my IELTS yet?..I will be taking it on March 27..just a just if I'm allowed to do that..hehe.. Thanks guys..
Yup.. u can pre-lodge it.. anyway they will respond to you in writing that inorder for them to progress your application for registration you need to provide evidence of your english competency... this requirement must be met within 2 yrs after lodging an application
Some people do not knwoing to thanking those make them laughing all these times. Yet saying making "stupid" jokes.Anyway, till then. Will be absent in forums untill i pass ielts. my exam soon. Like what uh_huh? saying me I go get fresh air bec thought wrong abt friends here in forum.
Bye! thanks to those kind and helping me.
kudos. lol.
so this is what i did for the stat dec...made a letter stating my name/address/profeesion and the reason why i dont have any experience -because that's what the nbv letter asked.
the letter i used made no reference to any australian/victorian law whatsover. -this letter was accepted by the phil. embassy.
i actually prepared two letters -the other one menntions the australia/victiorian law for stat dec. -the phil embassy rejected it -their reason made sense as the declaration is not being done in aus.
uh_huh? sent me a pm quoting someone saying that the board requires that is should state the aus/vic law etc... etc... etc...
@uh_huh? thanks to your help!
whether my letter will be accepted or not... i will letb you know.
oh by the way, @lithotomy, seriously?
good luck, newmac!!! im sure everything will turn out okay.
i have been lurking for a while..and i join your question, bro.... @lithotomy, are you for real?:igtsyt:

to pinoy rn's who wish to come to au. im here in perth now. will start conversion course at curtin come march 1.ive met many pinoys already when we had the orientation. i have been assessed by the nmbwa and i applied for the bp but all slots were full and most of those offering will stop the bp program soon. in fact, curtin"s bp program will have it's last intake this 1st sem of 2010.that's why the alternative is to enroll in the conversion course. anyways, it takes 2 sems (9 months) to finish the course and one can register with the nmbwa. and yes, they have an intake for semester 2 this july.... the application is pretty easy and fast, and u can do it by yourself thru idp.although expensive, i think we can pay it off when we work as rn's here in au.best of luck everybody!!!
hi...did i read this right ? bridging program will be stopped? where was this announced? please confirm this ...thank you
