Do they like i read on the forum send an acknowledgement letter like QNC and is that what i am waiting for ? Or is it the assessment they send right ahead ?
thats my time frame...as it is always be on a case to case basis...meaning only the nbv can tell you how long would be the assessment is, because we dont know they might ask you addtional documentations to support your qualification (hope it wont happen)...so just persevere, im sure the assessment will be positive. :)
e.g other assessments took three months others just two months.
i dont have yet my certificate of registration (board certificate). PRC davao will release it january of next year. jujujuju Can i pass my documents in NBV without my certificate of registration?

I just got my letter, although it arrived at the post office on September 30, 2009.
It also says I should "demonstrate nursing competence through an approved process, to comply with section 54(4) of the Nursing Act 1992."
Is this the Part B? The one that we will take in QLD?
Hi! I'm a newbie here.. Just want to share that I'll be attending the bridging program at Curtin this coming feb 2010. I noticed that only a few nurses are going the WA route.. I know It's kinda expensive and long but I think it's all worth it. I'm just waiting for my visa. I don't have any experience so It was quite a shock to me that i got accepted..Prayers do help a lot :) Well, hoping I could meet someone who is going to Curtin like me;)

anytime within december. although i suggest you take your ielts as soon as possible so that you have room for error. meaning, just in case you won't pass the first take , you can take another one since the ielts is given monthly. take november, so god forbid you fail it, you have another take on december and this time you already have an experience.
