Finally decided to take the bp in Burwood, NSW not in April but July intake. Sending my application form tomorrow:) My hopes at Qld's proposed bp has faded, after receiving an email stating "There are not currently any bridging courses available in Queensland. It is up to the educational institutions to decide what courses they offer. AHPRA is responsible for approving those courses that meet the standards set for registration purposes" So I chose a diffrent route instead, before my eligibility letter expires. Time is precious. Good luck to me:)

got the letter from aphra yesterday finally after 7 months.. now the hunt for bridging course begins :) did i mention before that i applied thru aphra qld? and that it was a huge dilemma for me considering that there is no bp yet in qld, the good news is, it is anticipated that a bridging course will be available early this year..it makes me even happier! just a prefect b-day gift for me, hehe.. yeah today's my bday! have a great day everyone..- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
it is pretty daunting.. we all hope for finding a job as soon as completing the bp. did they tell her some reasons why she's not hired?- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
Thanks for your reply faveispink, actually the reason why i opted for qld is my relatives are there so in terms of accomodation etc, it could save me heaps. I wonder why qld does not offer this kind of program Yeah your right i might as well take your advice (i have thought of that as well) if there's no other choice. Have you done yours?- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
i'm having a bit of a dilemma here, there is no bp available in queensland! it seems the only way is to contact the relevant institutions providing these courses, to make arrangements to complete any theory via distance education / online. I have searced through their websites but they dont offer it externally. Now i'm running out of options:( help anyone..- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
uhmm.. can't seem to find bp in queensland.. any idea?- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
i do have some relatives there, and ive been there a few times. i thought there is parity between each state in terms of wages. that would be a great idea ryan working interstate at the same time exploring australia! i havent been to victoria yet, i've seen sydney though.. it was such a long trip from brisbane coz we drove all the way there! i think it was 14 hours the most (including short pit stops) but it was a blast! very unforgettable experience. i love it! yeah i do hope to get a job there and stay there for good with my relatives .. still waiting for my final assessment, just submitted my additional docs last week. - New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
